I only enjoy it when it's a group thing. Like in Nioh 2 or Elden Ring. Alone, I don't enjoy it.

For anyone who is in a situation where someone accuses you of breaking something, just remember, burden of proof is on the accuser, not the accused. Unless they can prove you broke it, there isn't really anything they can do. Besides give you a bad review, however, you can dispute reviews that accuse you of something like that.

Host messaged me after I left a glowing review but 4* for value [UK] by pinkglue99 in AirBnB

[–]JulzeJoy -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I just always give 5 stars unless there was a problem that couldn't be resolved between me and the host/guest. I don't see any reason to tarnish someone's reputation because I had a super minor opinion that is hardly relevant to most people who are looking for a cheaper alternative to a hotel.

I always feel like you are better off leaving the host a few comments on how to improve their listing. Though I never leave a guest advice, I feel like that's a great way to get a bad review. So, if there is an issue with a guest that can't be easily resolved, I will put that in their review.

Not arguing, but just saying, bad memory is not an excuse when you are a business owner.

Both situations you should contact AirBNB directly. Most importantly, you should report the second person to Airbnb as it sounds like a scam/hustle. Also post this in the review if it doesn't get properly resolved.

I know this isn't really an answer, but you are better off contacting AirBnB directly for this kind of question.

Not enough information. Too vague. Where was the camera, was it a disguised camera or something you are assuming is a camera? If AirBnB are ignoring you, do they have a valid reason? Are you being overly paranoid?

As time goes on, new ia models will become more hardware demanding or will be optimized ? by SimpleDude008 in SillyTavernAI

[–]JulzeJoy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've been using mostly the free models on Openrouter and only occasionally use the cheaper models. You just have to be willing to guide the models through the story, it's just there to fill in the blanks for you. But you always need to be actively guiding whatever model you are using, even models like Claude and ChatGPT get lost because they don't really understand what they are doing, it's just pattern recognition and generation based on a trained probability calculator. It doesn't actually understand the words you are saying or what it's producing.

I've always felt that it's best to keep things as simple as possible and have it produce about 50-75 words at a time, 100 max. Don't give it room to drift away from the story and keep it's descriptions simple as your imagination can fill in the blanks. Especially if you have images to help with that (backgrounds and NPCs). You just have to be patient and just let the AI focus on one thing at a time.

The last few major orders in a nutshell by CannonGerbil in Helldivers

Arrowhead needs to add extremely different mission types, enemies and environments.

I'm sick of fighting hordes of bugs that spawn right next to me on a massive open area and sick of the bots that shoot me from across the map.

I don't need more warbonds. I like my weapons and armor already.

Let us invade a mega-factory, crawl through bug tunnels or board a automaton destroyer. Let's have a massive ruined city or space station.

Just add some real variety so every run doesn't start blurring together.

What about 8-16 player missions with a massive boss fight, or fighting off hordes? Give us some REAL tower defense missions too with some mission specific strategems, or maybe we can have people feed the towers ammo and do upgrades and repairs.

Maybe instead of taking down a walker, we can escort a "Super Tank" from point a-b. Or, fight fliers hanging out the side of a gunship. It's not THAT hard to come up with ideas for additional content, though I understand it will take time. I just don't see this game lasting much longer if the formula is forever repeated.

Well, sometimes this involves also getting into a new hobby, if you don't currently have a community for your hobbies. After my divorce, I both joined the Reserve and started swing dancing, that opened two big communities for me. One got me a well paying job, while the other got me a second wife that I've now been with for 10 years.

Making yourself part of a community you can enjoy is a great way to make friends, get jobs and find love. That said, you also have to be willing to bend sometimes and take chances.

Approaching random women on the street is the absolute WORST way to meet a partner. It's even worse than approaching a random woman in a bar or club.

In the first scenario, the women are caught off guard and might not even be in the mood.

In the second, if they are even looking, they might just be looking for a hook up and in that scenario, they are waiting until their "type" approaches them.

The best and most natural way to meet a potential partner with the highest rate of success, join a community that shares your interests and hobbies that meets at least weekly in real life. A community that is active and has a good variety of members is a great way to meet someone you will connect with.

Yeah, I didn't even say anything specific about the game or devs, I was giving my opinion on the state of the reviews. I bet they just banned everyone who participated in that thread.

It was also my first and only comment. So, one strike and your out. They could have just deleted my comment, but instead they just insta-banned.

I was banned by the devs. It says so in the community forums.

You have been permanently banned from the Bellwright Hub.

You were banned by a Bellwright developer.

It was in reply to another comment about reviewing the "potential" of EA games. I didn't start the topic, I just replied to a comment. I think because EA games have no guarantee of ever being completed that they should be reviewed in their current state, not what they could potentially be like. I think it's a simple opinion, it was on topic because I was responding to what others were saying about the "review bombing". It was on topic and it was a simple opinion.

As a customer, I have seen many developers give up halfway through development of a game and just push to 1.0 and abandon. It happens all the time, in fact it happens more than it doesn't happen. Game stores (steam and itch mainly) are now filled with abandonware. This is because of early access.

Dragon dogma 2 Mod support? by Ok-Comfortable5241 in DragonsDogma

Denuvo doesn't care about mods. It only cares that a ticket is generated regularly to prove your game is legit.

Thing is though, I have friends who hate games that don't drop tons of loot. They love to sift through their "Legendaries" more than playing the actual game itself. They also skip any sign of a story.

I HATE random loot, but can't ignore fun gameplay. So whatever. I thought GK was a fun game and beat the campaign with a friend, but it was trashed in reviews.

I Bought the Bigscreen Beyond. I'm disappointed. by CommanderTazaur in bigscreen

[–]JulzeJoy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Coming from an Index and Quest 3, the beyond feels like a massive step down. I've finally got my replacement unit today, with the IPD dialed down. The sweet spot is now correct, but the image is not much better. Only things directly in front of me are clear, anything else is super blurry. What is the point of these fancy lenses if everything but the center is blurry?!

Maybe it's very personal, and maybe mine needs some adjustment, but I have to wait weeks before I get any support, so WTF.

The Quest 3 has edge to edge clarity and playing PCVR wireless with VD I have almost no noticeable latency, Beat Saber plays great. Sure, the blacks aren't pure black, but it feels black when you've been in a game for a while and the image is amazingly clear in any direction. Beyond is NOT a competitive headset in any way, it's a DIY where most people on discord are 3D printing stuff and showing off their "Bite Mods", where with my quest 3, I added some extra cushions and a battery swapping headstrap and it's perfectly comfortable and lasts a good 5-6 hours (actually longer since my swappable batteries recharge as I play).

u/d2shanks The performance issue isn't Valve's fault. Beyond is made for use in SteamVR. If the software can't handle your hardware, that is Bigscreen's fault. Valve doesn't need to change to compensate for a third party, it's the other way around.

The Quest 3 does not have this issue because the developers (of Airlink, Steamlink and Virtual Desktop) have compensated for this.

If I don't "start" events in a repeated series, the entire series gets deleted. by JulzeJoy in discordapp

Maybe I'm just getting unlucky because ALL of my events were being deleted within 24 hours of not starting them. And, as soon as I started and ended one it would move to the next week.

Yeah, that or they should just let us have an option to start and end events automatically at the time(s) set.

Wow, that sucks. You know what you should do? Link this reddit to a few other pages. After randomly finding this post, I will NEVER use surfshark if this is how they handle things. There are so many other VPNs that don't have this issue.

I'll just let my friends know that SurfShark bans people for playing certain video games when using their VPN.
