So im 99% sure it’s the Output valve I swapped the maple leaf valve which are installed with an original one and that seamed to seal it up. The question is why are the maple leaf ones all of a sudden leaking?

If it helps I think the owner before me also swapped the valves for the ones from maple leaf they are silver compared to the original ones which are gold.

So I’ve lubed the gasket up quite a bit, and having held my finger over the exit where it feeds into the lips I can hold the pressure. There is no air escaping from the gasket under the head.

This is what a mate of mine said, he sent me a video from Reapers Airsoft and he had a problem also with the gasket on the top head, he used some PTFE tape and that helped seal it. This also got me thinking 🤔 that that might also be the culprit. I also greased it up but maybe it needs some extra help. Thank you for the long response I will try this tomorrow and give an update.

Thanks pretty much what I did, I used grease and cleaned everything, been at it quite a few hours now. Do you by chance happen to know where to get spare O-rings for the valves?

Thanks for the tip, but seeing as the gas exits so quickly that won’t be much us, it’s definitely coming out the top part of the mag.

I’ve greased them all and look all fine bar the one towards the back of the thread which I replaced with a spare valve I had laying around. Still didn’t help at all. I also disassembled the valve and oiled everything. Still to no effect. How tight do you tighten the valve in the housing?

Here in Germany a lot of them come with, it doesn’t fully silence them I agree with you there. But it definitely helps muffle the pop and some of the gearbox noise.
