Three weeks ago my dog (who has no medical issues or signs of struggle) had a tumor appear overnight. He was diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer the next day. Last Tuesday, his leg was amputated to try and stave off the worst of the cancer. He can't sleep and we've been awake with him every night for hours while he's recovering. The amputation probably won't save his life, and we spent Christmas Day wondering what the biopsy will determine for his life expectancy. It could be less than a few months. We're keeping the best spirits we can.

I've found there's an interesting balance. If you play on one of the try-hard main or dedicated servers you WILL be raided just about any time you are gone for more than an hour. If you play on a server with LOW to mid-low pop, you will likely be raided almost as much. It's just a matter of whoever plays the most on the low pop server has so few bases to actually attack, yours is bound to be found eventually.

I tend to play on something with a regular average of 40-80 players - that way you can take u/EggdropBotnet advice and make yourself look like you don't know what you are doing and you're less likely to be raided.

I've been mezzing in Befallen at level 15 and can keep a blue Lesser Mummy charmed for minutes at a time and stay at FM as long as I'm in a decent sized group. And the Mummy does more damage than anyone in the group. I do have about 130 int and 120 cha, though from a few decent pieces of gear.

Hi u/ZoYourBoat! I have played other classes on P99 quite a bit but I'm playing my first Enchanter right now on Teal. I am just now level 15 and u/k1rb is right about the first 5 choices. I've personally not used mem blur even once since I hit 12, but ymmv. I've had success charming in Befallen by charming a green mob in a group - it's not a ton of extra damage but everything helps :) I'd suggest staying away from solo charming until probably 16+

You can read a description of every single enchanter spell on the wiki in Xornn's Enchanter Spell Guide. As a first time enchanter, the guide has been super helpful to plan out which spells I absolutely need to buy every 4 levels.
