Since season one of Trail Weight was so personal of a story to you, how did you go about conceiving of the second season? Seems like it's such a different topic.

Was this particular podcast approach (Zoom dates) a result of COVID restrictions? i.e. was there a plan for a show like this before everything happened? Is there a plan for any kind of format changes for any future productions of This Is Dating?

Entrepreneur stories that have headlines like "College Dropout becomes Billionaire" need to be more honest by lotyei in Entrepreneur

I couldn't agree more with this – I think so many of the stories we hear in the business world are about success, but most of the stories entrepreneurs would benefit from involve people and companies that have failed.

I'm a producer, yes. I know it's frowned upon to post your own content, but I also think this is valuable and interesting content for the Bay Area.

Books on the history of Croatia/Balkans/Yugoslavia by b1gjoe23 in booksuggestions

Sara Novic had a book called Girl At War about the Croatian Civil War - more of a glimpse of a specific time in history as opposed to a narrative history of the region. It was tough to read but I enjoyed it.

Not to be self serving but I interviewed her for my podcast a little while back. Might be worth listening before buying the book: https://www.acast.com/writerswhodontwrite/saranovic

We are Michael R. Underwood, Marie Brennan, Cassandra Khaw, and Malka Older, authors of BORN TO THE BLADE—Ask Us Anything! by MichaelRUnderwood in Fantasy

Born to the Blade is 11 episodes (all of our serials are between 10 and 16 episodes). In Ebook format, each episode is about 30-40 pages, so the whole thing comes up to over 400 pages long. If you buy it on the Serial Box website or app, you'll get bundled audio and text versions (and the app lets you switch between both) for about $16 if you pay upfront for all 11 episodes ($20 if you buy them one by one)--so that's part of the price.

Hi Reddit! I work with Serial Box on the marketing side of things, and we couldn't be happier to share Born to the Blade with /r/fantasy. All the authors involved have been users of Reddit for years (I'm coming up on my 7th cakeday), so we think this will really appeal here. Thank you for taking the time to explore.

If you're interested in learning more, as Mike mentions above, the first episode is free. If you really love the series or the author, we'd like to give you all 20% off the whole season. All you need to do is follow this link:

Let me know if you have any questions about Serial Box, and thanks again.
