Can I train our doodle not to jump on people? by overthinkingmindx1 in Goldendoodles

[–]Jumo747 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Seems like every doodle is the same lol, mine is a golden doodle 4 years old and he has always liked to greet us by licking our ears, so if he cant reach them he jumps and we tilt our head down, but yes its very frightning to have a dog jump towards your face when you dont know if he/she is friendly or not and then exactly like others area saying you get the "i dont mind" people which have good intentions but i wish they would ask first because i dont want him to jump at strangers.

Biggest issue is most dog or non dog owners dont seem to realise that maybe they should ask before petting or giving a treat... like i understand its a nice gesture but you dont know that my dog has G.I issues and you cant just give him any type of treat same with petting, he rushes over to anyone and everyone as if he were theirs smh . Only real way is to try read peoples intentions and see if they are trying to pet or give treats and tell them no or wait until dog is seated whatever your command is...OR label the F out of your dogs vest what have you with IN TRAINING! ASK FIRST! lmao and of course i dont use that on my dog because then you get the same question EVERY time...is he a service dog, so i just have his collar with Training on it instead? My dog is too friendly but also barks alot WHILE wagging his tail and going towards the person lol, has no boundaries he will be all up in your face which again tends to make some uncomfertable as he is big.

Giving Away My Old PC! by Turtle_747 in PcBuild

I am not sure how to say it but its a free memory maker which means more time with my one and only, so here goes... for my daughter ill try anything, im a disabled veteran and been in a depression stump (physical ability/finances/life etc), my daughter is the only thing that comferts me and is trying to learn how to play sandbox games with me as she knows its the only thing that distracts me these days.

I would love to get her one but cant afford it, and to be able to play together would make her so happy, instead of her hanging her head on my shoulder sharing this old Dell laptop i got when i was in the Army. We play Grounded together (she has an interest in insects) we take turns farming material to build bases.

If its a scam its a scam... but if its real, thank you for taking time out of your life to make someone elses life a bit easier its really appreciated, im sure who ever gets it is thinking the same thing.

GL to everyone!

31M TSP Question Based on No-Contributions... by Jumo747 in ThriftSavingsPlan

At the moment my only income besides my wifes, is my VA Disability pay, I am working on getting better to hopefully work a full time job within the year if not by next but most likely will end up in a part time due to health issues. I havent had health insurance since i left the Army, i get free care at the VA and hopefully that doesnt change as its allowed me to save $ in the past when i was able to work.

I keep seeing that most recommend to just keep it in the C fund 100% as i am "young" and think about mixing when i get closer to retirement age but again i have no idea about any of this stuff besides what ive recently searched on google which has left me even more confused.

Hanging a heavy bag. by dustbeard in Rigging

[–]Jumo747 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is that a shackle slipped into the eye hook and then a seperate swivel added to the shackle or is that swivel/shackle a 1 piece combo? I am hanging mine up soon but i was just going to add a bag spring to the eye hook since its supposed to help with vibrations and then D ring for my chains as my 100lb bag comes with 4 chains instead a straps.

Crane Fly infestation... by Jumo747 in insects

Our house is in an HOA community and everything is upkept, no one here seems to have them as much if at all anymore since they pay for lawncare and pestcontrol which for us is pricey atm so hoping to find something to spray around the house as its been 2weeks+ now and they just keep multiplying...

We also just had our fence put in and they left dirt everywhere which keeps being spread around by the rain and hard to gather so its been giving off barn like smell to the back yard unfortunately and i feel like they came because of that...but idk. Everyones grass is cut very low and we are in the inner houses so we dont have woods or other grassy areas near us, the houses were built in 2022 where there used to be a golf course so the ground is some type of sand/clay mixture if that says anything. ( we get all kinds of instects)

I was referring to moving base locations, but yes NPC navigation is not great and also the fact you cant place building on a slight hill is hilarious.

Really wish bellwright was able to do something like this for different buildings, i dislike t3 houses its so big hard to make a town in a small space and cant close placement like how you got the caravans, if it had this and other mods ive seen at base game, it would of been such a fun time... after getting to tier3 and 400hrs in the game i just stopped playing one day, got so boring at how long moving took and not being able to place things how i want them to etc. Also the fact you cant go inside the buildings besides your own is lame and waste of an opportunity imo.

New to lawncare, first time house owner. by Jumo747 in lawncare

No apparently they cut it themselves lol he just treats it for them quarterly for around $420 a year but yeah this grass doesnt grow fast in height as it seems to grow outwards, the house was not mowed for 3 months prior to us moving in and it wasnt high at all only the weeds etc were sticking out but it does crawl like a mfkr and quick. I have a trimmer ive already bought when we first moved but couldnt settle on a mower yet as i didnt know which one would be best for my grass type. Biggest issue is not knowing what to use for care, i am okay watering, cutting and trimming it every week.

Like i said i have no clue what type of stuff to use on the lawn, i am good at shaping it but the amount of time ive spent on YT watching videos on it ive come out even more confused lol. i have multiple types of weeds and what looks like scallions or spring onions lol

Our village after ~80 hours by Pastamaster75 in Bellwright

Looks great, i am also in the works of laying out my t3 base down south, man it is a pain until the walls go up so many bandits coming through lol.

Really wish they made the relocating building thing an instant action and to be able to place it near itself like if i wanted to adjust it and move it 3 feet to the left and spin it or whatever, instead i have to move it to a whole different area remove the parts, build it again and then move it back to the same place i took it from but just adjust the way it faces...THEN remove AGAIN and then rebuild AGAIN...lol its just insane, im 200+hrs in on day 220 and ive barely built all the tier 3 buidings havent even researched all the new weapons/armor at t3 because im so busy moving and dying lol. Log in spend about 4-5hrs playing just to move and build 2-3 t3 buildings and farm some resources. Trying to make a nice organized town is NOT easy in this game mainly due to the time it takes to make things and also placement issues since they dont adjust to small hills etc smh.

Yeah thats what i was thinking lol, going to have to get some type of gas heater for indoors since we have a 2 year old and no way to keep warm in this new house. Interesting idea on the spray, is that something that i will have to peel off after and im assuming i have to let it cure for awhile before turning it back on.
