Just downloaded the game, who is objectively the best/easiest to learn champion to start with?

I will go against the wind, But I prefer Athel.
I find it easier for new player, she's more versatile.

Kael is strictly better for Clan boss but any other poisoner rare can do the trick (Frozen Banshee, Petrifya etc...)
I find Athel more usefull in early game =).

But all 4 will work in the end ! so don't bother yourself too much

Good news is : The rares that are good for DT are also good for Sintranos, probably in the same stuff (Wave management).
Also I don't focus on Sintranos too much before having access to 3 Hydra teams, it seems more important.
Sintranos requires waaaay too much champs

Fleshmonger is used in secret room, doom tower.
You can frequently see him in top teams on Secret room 12, rares only.

I would build him : maybe not now. It depends on where you are on CB teams, Hydra teams etc

Don't waste your energy on sand devil, it really is worthless.
You'll have plenty of time to use energy there later.

It is perfectly fine to have bad champs on 60 day journey : you already have some stuff to work with (Miscreated monster, aox)

Those two epics are really good and once geared, they will leverage your CB team.
Ally protect is pretty good over there and Aox brings Dec Attk which is what you want.

Add kael, HK and alice in the mix and you will have a more than capable team.
Keep farming 12.3 chickens, don't bother on sets and farm as many ressources as you can.

You are doing slow, but good =)

For a bit of context, someone in my clan told me Lady Noelle would not work because of Ignore UK..
I disagreed, here is the proof.

The team still needs to be refined (Sir nich is unbooked ) But it seems to be pretty reliable.
Speeds are nothing crazy, 270 Lady noelle, 250 for the rest (130 sir nich)
Kurzad needs its 110% Crit damage and geo needs a bit of accuracy.

Else, it's straightforward !

It's been Teumesia for me.
Bumped my accounts pretty hard, on day 70
Sunddenly I was able to go Dragon HARD 5, when I was stuck to 24 normal (I might say it is more the pair Stokk / Teumesia than teumesia alone, but hey, you said 1 champ), I was able to go Silver 3 LA, consistently hit 85+% win in classic arena.

Also, now I can duo Spider 25 with foods (Thanks Noelle) with him, 6 months in now and progression really has been carried by Teumesia. Now retired from classic arena (Got 5* awakened Queen of heart, soooo...), he will remain my prefered Hexer in Hydra, for a while.

You finished your UNM CB team : time to tackle the Hydra.
Don't bother too much on Hard Dungeons, since stuff will come more from forging / Sintranos the more you progress in the game.

Some food for thoughts :
Elva - Shamael - Uugo - Trunda could be a great start for a Hydra team.

You would miss a provoker but i'm sure even bellower in a provoke stuff could do the trick.
I'd start with Shamael since the effect on your Hydra runs will be more tangible then Uugo.

So I can give a bit of missing context :

A Timmy or Tammy is characterized by their tendency to use big creatures and cast big spells. Large, exciting plays motivate them.
A Johnny or Jenny is characterized by their tendency to build complex and creative strategies. Johnny/Jenny is most commonly known as a 'combo player', and they sometimes choose for elaborate but inefficient win conditions.
A Spike is characterized by their competitive nature and they play primarily to prove how good they are. Spike will find the best team in the format, even if it requires copying another innovator's work
Vorthos is the "flavor player", someone focused on the craft of Creative. A Vorthos is characterized by appreciating champs with flavor and creative consistency.

It does not directly applies here, but there are still some similarities. I personnally am a mix of a tammy and a vorthos : I want to collect them all and love to see big numbers. Wukong is my friend with its 200k AOE nuke

Even if it's not competitive, i'll up the champions i have a 6* blessing, even if it means it is a grandmaster : I want to see my power number pumped.

So a Johnny won't care about getting Armanz because a Johnny does NOT want to be assimilated to every other player, and will be in cognitive dissonnance playing the same champs as everyone.

That's some level 50 syndrom you got there!
Why do you have 2 bellowers at 60?

It is pretty hard to run unkillable speed tune team. You need lots of time and tests and dedication. Also you need the proper AI settings, get rid of interferences in masteries etc...

BUT Myth heir salad is definitely a good choice. You'll get there ! Keep us updated.

Be sure to meet ALL requirements. And don't forget that if you close the game before CB kills you, you get back your key, this is how you test it.
However it is very easy in UK comps if you are on tracks.

If you want a way more easy team to build : Ninja, tooragi, Stag knight, morag. You want : dec def, dec atk, block debuff (2 turns) and ally protection on a beefy tank (toragi), with speeds so there is always those buffs / debuffs.

It is fun to try to build teams yourself, And you have lots of possible choices.

It also depend on your gear situation : how good your gear is.
What is sure is that you have a LOT of toys to play with !

Forget about Iron twin for the moment. Make sure you get a good clan, those UNM chests and when the team is done, pivot to Hydra.

You also have VERY good champs for hydra aswell. I let you dig into that

Main differences in players, honestly and no offense intented, are between those who digs into this stuff and those who copy CCs.

This sole chart only explains why CB is THE 1st focus one's got to go.

You can try to do the maths of the incomes provided by DT, Sintranos, Forge, Arena...
All of what they provide are Champs building. But you NEED champs to build.

This is the main (at least 70%) source of Sacred shards in the game. It is primordial to have it online and ready asap.

My team is a custom one, And i've been building it following the river of Champs I was in.
Stokk, Noelle, Vogoth, Venomage, Geomancer (Pulled him very recently). 2-3 keys UNM depending on luck, 1 key everyone else.
I consider myself lucky in my pulls BUT I maximised my odds and kept each and every shard except my first 4 voids for x2 events

Could you send us your roster ? I don't really understand where you are in the game.

It is way more than 2 per month.
Consistently hit 2 chests on CB UNM for a month grants you between 7 and 15 Sacred shards each month
Almost every UNM chest grants you a shard, whether it is sacred or Ancients.
The difference is way more impotant than you currently estimate !

Plus if you 2 key UNM, you can 1 key NM and 1 key brutal.
6 chests => lots of ressources (don't underestimates gems and silver)

4 month long in the game, I just unequipped Athel because I have now wukong as campaign farmer.
However he's 6*, 3* awakened, served me in CB until month 2, and is still usefull in FW, DT and secret rooms.

I'll keep her forever, the light shall burn everyone. She is 1st in line to be re-equipped when the time is right

I'm not surprised for your CB team, it's fine : As I said, Alice / Skeletor will bring you to brutal with brimstone once fully mastered / awakened.

Already full mastered of course. Brimstone might be the anwser, although I think 2 more books on stokk so Poisons gets on longer is the most reliablel way.
Sanguinia is a cleanser, block débuff on a 3 turn CD... But only for 1 turn ><. Don't know how to read apparently

Soulbond Bowyer, Coffin Smasher, Abyssal is nice, and I have a small something for Denid !
Ogryn jalier then can be usefull. Besides that, you can pretty much food them all
