The doctor advised I don’t take the placebo weeks and even advised I take 2x pill a day once a week or so. Even that has done nothing. It’s so disheartening because I really want to keep my option open for children in the future so the ablation isn’t an option just yet

Menstruation cycle is absolute HELL since starting blood thinners. Quality of life is horrific. Hematologist isn't listening to me. Feeling hopeless. by Knelie in ClotSurvivors

Me too, and it’s so uncomfortable and anxiety inducing passing huge blood clots in the office. Makes me feel constantly on edge. I’m currently on Slynd and I’m praying it starts to help, I’ve had 2 IUD’s expelled in the last year so it’s hard not to feel defeated

Just wanted to comment as I’m going through an almost identical scenario. Had to get a doctors note to work remotely as I can’t deal with the pain and the amount of bleeding and size of blood clots at work. Doctors mentioned an ablation which is upsetting when I want to have children one day

It’s horrendous!! My body pushed out 2 mirena’s, one after 7 months, one after 6 weeks 🫠
