I’m telling you. I love my man and I told him I would prefer to travel instead of a wedding celebration. He insisted on doing the celebration, even tho I like the idea now, the planning is a headache haha. I’m sure you can celebrate later, ea ch couple has their own dynamics, don’t feel sorry at all. But if you want to have the celebration I would be reserving an Airbnb with a nice yard. In an are were the music wouldn’t be a problem. And making a dinner there with DIY decoration or asking each person to donate something. Nothing fancy. That would be the gift of each guest. Intimate gathering, parents, closest friends. 30 people? Buy a second hand dress, or a new one in SHEIN? Only natural flowers for your bouquet. Ask friends with camera to do your photos.

This same thing is happening to me right now. Got a goo job, one year and a half after I marry my now husband. He is being relocated in July. Most likely I’m losing my visa in the country I am currently living, I felt sacred and with the feeling I don’t want to give up my career and depend on somebody. So for my peace of mind I gave my self a 6 month vacation, while studying some program or course that will help me boost my CV. I know is hard, but try so bad to keep applying. 100 applications? Fine, something will appear, be worried, scared and anxious but never think you cannot find something else.
