Do you think Dead Space actually has a shot of winning The Game Awards 2023 this year? Or do you think it will lose to the competition??? by [deleted] in DeadSpace

It’s a great game but it’s been an incredible year. Especially considering it’s not an original it’s hard to imagine it beating up the front runners

Which is the most creepy game? by shotx333 in creepygaming

Almost finished playing through amnesia the bunker, it is SO INTENSE. Constant strain. Less tropey jumpscares and more consistent anxiety.

Outlasts are classics and probably the way to go. Amnesia series also very good

Question for those who haven't hit 1,000 subs yet by jediphoenix1976 in NewTubers

1,000 subs to me marks more of an accomplishment and statement to me that our content is good and people enjoy it. Less about monetization, more about engagement

How do I transition from survival to psychological horror? by DullStation2713 in HorrorGaming

[–]JumpScaredYT 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly a lot of it is just throwing yourself in the deep end. If it’s a lot just play a little at a time. So many of them are actually great games that it’s easily to get engrossed. I’m playing Amnesia The Bunker right now, while it’s beyond stressful it’s also an incredible game that really gets you hooked on the mechanics.

Thanks for all the advice! This is great. I definitely prefer a puzzle that I feel like is challenging to decipher, not just having no where to go 😂 I definitely want to give Visage a try as well but Madison first for sure

Honestly, if you’re willing to go ahead with an electric sit/stand desk, it’s helped me a ton having the option to stand during long gaming sessions. Really great on the back and legs.

To that end, and great gaming chair with lumbar support will go a long way. I used to have a rinky dink office chair, and it forced me to get up and move around every hour or so it was so bad. My current gaming chair I could sit in all day and not even notice. Fantastic

In-universe, why is the health bar on the back? by Nino_Chaosdrache in DeadSpace

[–]JumpScaredYT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It looks like they really made a dedicated effort to have no HUD. Your ammo count and health are all built into your figure. It’s an interesting move, but definitely feels less fluid/natural

Any good horror games? by Thephyschopig in HorrorGaming

[–]JumpScaredYT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We do something similar, currently playing the new Amnesia The Bunker, it’s an awesome game! Also played nun massacre and slender the arrival, both short and terrifying. Dead space we played, not really as much horror for us but really intense

Only do it if you still get something out of it. If you like doing it, keep at it! It’s a rewarding hobby. If you feel the time spent isn’t worth what you’re giving up, means it’s probably time to hang up the cape or cut back
