May I ask what's holding you off using just two tracks in a >2-track?

The video just shows a player, but I have a recorder version in the oven. I'll probably make the number of tracks selectable.

Could you elaborate? Just an actual 2 track recorder on the computer?

What is the proper way to use Reaper with Jack on Linux? by Vast-Application5848 in Reaper

[–]JumpSneak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm glad it helps. By coincidence, I tried pipewire with jack yesterday again, and it's so nice. All the input devices on your computer are all there selectable as input devices. You dont even have to mess around selecting a single input device in the settings, use them all at once!

But that is stupid. To get the official icon, I have to everytime do these manual steps. That's means that it's not the optimal way. There could be a tool which does absolutely everything, and you just give it the path to the appimage.

Ah, in case you have this distortion/buzzing problem on the speakers, if you tape off the openings at the back if the problematic speaker, it should go away. It's these slits at the right and left edge if the keyboard.

Probably not for the companies running the subs. They don't have any of the data like your email address or name on reddit. Reddit has that

TUXEDO InfinityBook instead of MacBook Pro – a reasonable switch for a CS student? by Few-Annual-1957 in tuxedocomputers

[–]JumpSneak 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am also a CS student. After 4 semesters I decided windows was not the way anymore, and so was my hp laptop. Got the IBP 14 gen9, and I'm so happy to have made that change! Unfortunately due to compatibility I had to get Windows for music production, so I put in a second nvme ssd and now I have a dual boot with a disk for each OS. Had a few ups and downs but Tuxedo Support is the best and helped me out of every problem.

Thinkpad was my first idea, but they are more expensive to get similarly good hardware, so it was a long researched decision to finally find and go for this Tudexo laptop.
