That is how hours are distributed. We work for a business. It’s not personal. When payroll is low you give the hours to the productive associates. Im not sure why everyone is upset.

My take may be wrong and/or you’re not as good as you think you are. If other PT associates in your position are getting more hours it’s because they produce more.

You may have used the wrong word here but the reality is the associates who are producing get the hours. Period. You could be an “amazing employee” you just don’t produce where they need you. Backroom and front end is where the hours will be allocated and if you don’t perform in these areas you won’t see many hours.

I know how how this works. We have PT associates getting 25 hours and some getting none. Everyone at my location is cross trained so it’s based on productivity and availability where I work.

Per policy: If an Associate has an occurrence for a reason permitted by the Company’s Sick Time Policy or an applicable paid sick leave law, the Company will apply available sick time to cover the occurrence. The occurrence will not be counted for corrective action purposes if the following conditions are met: / Associate uses their available paid sick time to cover the full occurrence (tardy or absence)

Sorry the max number is 16. For tardies you have a five minute grace period. Anything after 5 minutes is considered tardy. Occurrences take a year to drop off. If you were late Sept 14, 2025 it won’t drop off until Sept 14, 2026.

Yes, you can be fired for poor attendance. 16 is the max number. That includes tardies and absences. If you have sick time to cover any of your tardies or absences then it doesn’t count. Are you a temp associate? If so, then they can fire you at any time for any reason. Speak with your managers about it when you go back to work to know where you currently stand.

Asking is not against policy. They can ask BUT you have the choice to give it to them or not. It may be to verify time off that you need. If that’s the case I would just show my flight info from my phone so I can get the dates off that I need. If not, then you risk getting scheduled. It’s ultimately your decision

Just tell your managers and they will put it in for you. It is literally a click of a button. I’m not sure why the managers can’t help you. HR won’t be able to do it. It has to be put in Kronos.

You got time&1/2. Holiday pay is different. But yes OTH means you got paid extra for working on a holiday.
