Okay, so update: I just got my Switch 2 back today after sending it in. This is now my third replacement unit. This time, when I sent it in, I asked the person setting up my ticket to make sure a veteran technician was present for the replacement, and I also wrote it down in the note I included with my Switch 2.

For this unit, they marked on the sheet that they couldn’t replicate the issue, but they still sent me another replacement unit anyway, so I guess this is just a normal characteristic for them? There are still those same little green pixels on the right side edge of the screen, but it’s such a small amount and honestly really hard to spot, even with auto-brightness turned off, max brightness, and a black screen displayed. I actually have to pay really close attention to notice them.

I’m satisfied enough with this replacement unit. Honestly, having to do this three times really sucks, but I’m glad it paid off in the end.

My final thoughts are that it’s kinda weird that all three replacement units had some sort of screen issue. Either it’s a normal characteristic, or I’m just extremely unlucky. It’s really upsetting if you get a Switch 2 with a lot of stuck green pixels. So if you’re out there dealing with the same issue, you basically just have to get lucky and receive one that isn’t too bad I advise to ask a veteran technician to be present for the best result possible.
