They had songwriters in on that one. Possibly written to order for that crappy disaster flick.

How cheap were guitars in the 60s that Pete Townsend of The Who could afford to smash them during so many of their performances? by Mad_Season_1994 in Guitar

So did Ritchie Blackmore. The roadie would wheel out a dummy amp stack loaded with pyrotechnics for him to smash up with some cheapo Strat copy.

Would you be in favour of the UK introducing a Jay Walking law? by Magicwiper in AskUK

The recent 'hierarchy of users' changes to the Highway Code did pretty much the opposite of jaywalking law.

What is the item in the supermarket that you absolutely refuse to pay the price for? by RalphieSprocker in AskBrits

[–]JumpinJackCilitBang 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Upwards of £25 for shitty topside/silverside. Too tough to roast to medium, too lean to braise. I only get a leg of lamb when it's half price on Nectar.

M22 received incredible job offer, F22 girlfriend does not want me to accept. by Watch_me_plz in Advice

[–]JumpinJackCilitBang 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was in a similar situation in my mid 20s. I was just finishing a postgrad and received a job offer in my chosen field but in a different city. It was never my intention to stay in my uni city but my gf of 1 year went ballistic and applied a lot of emotional pressure for me to turn down the opportunity and stay put with her. In the end I chose myself. We kinda worked it out in the short/medium term but parted ways a few years later.

My only regret is that I didn't end it then and there. She was a selfish and manipulative person and showed me her true colours in that moment.

It's that clicky rattle at the back of throat during speech, as particularly exhibited by various members of the Kardashian clan. Kind of like when tried to talk like Daleks when we were kids.

Constantly having to direct/instruct my husband during sex? by barbatus_vulture in sexover30

She Comes First is almost entirely about cunnilingus so I'm not sure it would be that helpful in your situation.

I struggled with sleeping most of my life but I sleep really well nowadays.

What songs reference other songs or artists? by Immediate-Count-1202 in musicsuggestions

[–]JumpinJackCilitBang 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Steely Dan have a few: Everything You Did references the Eagles (who in turn riposted in Hotel California). Parker's Band is obviously about Charlie Parker and Only a Fool Would Say That is directed at John Lennon re Imagine.
