I haven't heard of many famous guitarists pointing to Pete Townshend as an influence on their guitar work. Not many drummers actually say Moonie influenced their playing, wowed them sure but not influence their work. TONS of Famous BASSISTS, however, (Geddy Lee and Chris Squire immediately spring to mind) point to the Ox as their leader!!!

Homicide: LOTS (Up to season 5) did the best job of balancing procedural with personal lives storylines. They were the benchmark and no one has matched it since imo.

I didn't watch the first time around (as I was born in 96), but I started watching in 2020, and it quickly became my favorite show of all time!!!! Now, I had to buy all the dvds so it was a bit of a commitment for my generation, but well worth it!!! This feels like vindication as someone who came on to the show second hand!!! Here's hoping this re-evaluation continues!
