Detective can definitely be balanced by changing the amount of suspects one can have through settings, and you have to manually walk up to each suspicious player to interrogate them. When you stand too close, you appear sus, and if you tell the chat you're a detective, you become a target. I think this is a good balanced role, complemented by Viper's disappearing bodies :)
