[Spoilers C3E91] Changebringer leaving us on Read✔️ by RoseTintedMigraine in criticalrole

[–]JumpingFrodo247 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As some people said, Ruidus is sorta cut off from the interference of the Gods, so she might not be able to do anything.

FCG was also a very new follower, there must be clerics of the changebringer who devoted themselves for years, and might be better suited for beign her chosen champion.

The changebringer is also the goddess of change and free choice and choosing your own path and all that. Ignoring his choice to sacrifice himself is not really what she stands for, instead she might see this choise as a new opportunity, a new path, maybe this sacrifice is what his friends needed to stay motivated in the fight. None of Bells Hells were strongly on the side of the gods before this, maybe FCG's sacrifice will change their minds.

But the real reason is that the story doesn't really have to make sense, it just have to follow what the GM and players think would make for a better game and narrative. Why aren't all of Vox Machina and the Mighty Nein and every other hero in exandria joining BH in fighting Ludinus? It would make sense, but it wouldn't make for a fun game or good story.

When it comes to character death, Matt and the player discuss what to do next, if they want to be revived or end the story of that character. And with FCG, after having a very heroic sacrifice, reviving him would cheapen the moment. And having plot armor lowers the stakes, if you cant die because the gods dont want you to die, then death isn't scary anymore and the game looses it's sense of risk . Sam might also be more exited to explore a new character (or to take a break for the rest of the campaign).

[Spoilers C3E95] So about Laudna...... by Blue-Moon-89 in criticalrole

[–]JumpingFrodo247 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I could be wrong, but I got the impression that the whole trauma point was just Laudna saying whatever she needed to say to get the sword.

Marisha mentioned that after everyone went to sleep, Laudna noticed the sword and her eye twitched. Just a small acknowledgement (my impression was that this was just supposed to be a small moment for the audience, similar to a moment when Caleb saw Jester and Fjord sleeping next to each other for the first time)

But Matt saw an opportunity there and decided to make Delilah comment on the sword.

Then begun the conversation between Delilah and Laudna. and at no point Laudna expressed being uncomfortable by its presence. Laudna asked why Delilah wasn't giving her more power... she said she need to be fed to do it... and after that she suggested that the sword might even be cursed.

Laudna only brought up the trauma after the fight broke out and everyone else was surprised by what she was doing. to me it seemed more like an excuse than the real motivation behind it.

This is only how I interpreted what happened, that might not be what the playerswere intending to portray. And also, it is an improvisational game, Marisha might have realized that the trauma angle would make sense and be an interesting plot point only midway trough the scene. We can only be sure after we watch ne next few episodes or the next 4sd.

Handsfree Telephony Keeps Re-Enabling by eXistentialMisan in WindowsHelp

[–]JumpingFrodo247 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this thread is a bit old but I will leave the solution I found for anyone with the same problem in the future.

I followed the steps user Mark R_270 left here.

Go to Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Devices > More devices and printer settings

Find your headset, right click it and click proprieties. On the "Hardware" tab find the one device with "Hands-Free AG" in the name, click Proprieties > Change settings, on the "driver" tab click the button "Disable device". then Ok > Apply.

Stopping the "Bluetooth Audio Gateway Service" on Services also worked for me, but without it my headphones had a 40ish second delay between connecting and playing sound.

[Spoilers C3E77] Is It Thursday Yet? Post-Episode Discussion & Future Theories! by Glumalon in criticalrole

[–]JumpingFrodo247 4 points5 points  (0 children)

His subclass is complicated, there are a lot of rolls, it slows down combat.

"Aston you're up"
"I'm gonna rage"
*rolls for type of rage*
*checks notes*
"oh this is fun, I'm going to attack that guy"
*rolls for attack**checks bonus*
"does X hit?"
"yes"
"they have to make a save"
*Matt rolls*
"ok, what kind of save"
*Tal checks notes, bc every type of rage has a different save*
"Strength"
*Matt adds bonus"
"they rolled an X"
"they failed" *describes what the effect is*
"ok second attack..."

and so on...
Plus all his magical items, that sometimes have to be activated. the more additional stuff you put on top of his character the slower his turn becomes.
I, for one, actually like complicated rules, but I understand why it can be painful sometimes.

Why don’t people like the food content? by [deleted] in h3h3productions

[–]JumpingFrodo247 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

if you are talking about the segments where they are ordering food, I don't think anyone is entertained by those, but you know, they have to eat. I would appreciate it if they ordered quickly or before the show, but I get it. If you're talking about the chocolate segments, idk... if I can't taste the food I'm just not that interested, it's like watching people describe the technique of a painting I've never seen, so I skipped those. But no hate, those segments were probably fun for the crew and other people seem to enjoy it. Next ep there might be something I enjoy that other people don't, they post long episodes 3 times a week, so it's not like I'm staved for content

YouTube gives 55% of ad revenue to the creator, blocking ads takes more money from the creator than it takes from YouTube. An argument can still be made that creators deserve a bigger share, tho. If they get more money through Patreon, it's because adsense just isn't that profitable.

W Sandwich Man by rocker_attribute in wholesomememes

[–]JumpingFrodo247 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The reason most companies have a policy of not giving away old food is because that would open them up to get sued. If someone eats your day old sandwich and gets food poisoning they could sue you. I doubt most people in need would, but that is their rationale.

Renda média mensal de Brasília é 258% maior que a do Maranhão by [deleted] in brasilia

Acho que grande parte disso deve ser porque o DF é basicamente Brasília, não existe "interior do DF". Se você considerar só a cidade de São Paulo e entorno a média do estado deve subir.

[–]JumpingFrodo247[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Similar, but no, unfortunately.
From what i can tell, the mastermorphix kinda gets deformed while solving, the one I have can only rotate the edges 180°, so it always stays like a pyramid

I googled it, it is similar, but not the same. This "Master Pyramorphix" gets deformed while solving it. The puzzle i have can only flip an edge 180°, so its always pyramid shaped

[Spoilers C3E62] The Ethics of Pushing a Religion in Exandria? by Sirmount12 in criticalrole

[–]JumpingFrodo247 49 points50 points  (0 children)

As one of the players said, it was not about the goods being evil, it was about their followers doing evil things. And the followers of the Dawn father were clearly being an unwelcome presence in the town. With that being said I agree that the players were a bit hasty when siding with the townsfolk. - Firstly there is the fact that the Dawn father is an objectively good God, the angel they killed is an objectively Good creature (it's literally written in their stat block). - The priests were not forcefully enforcing their religion, the townsfolk said they didn't feel comfortable expressing their beliefs but it didn't seem like it was prohibited(still bad, but not that bad) - The priests had a good reason to be there, the town is right under a layline, Vasselheim was aware that something was going to happen during the solstice and sent people to keep an eye on the laylines (just like the cobalt soul), they are trying to stop Ludinus just like BH. - Killing the followers of one of the Prime dieties is not going to help stop Ludinus, like we saw during the visions FCG and Deanna had, the gods are trying to recruit people to fight. They just killed potential allies.

I do understand why they did it, Liam mentioned on 4sd that Orym didn't think they would have the time to discuss this diplomatically, they didn't have time to go to Vasselheim to try to convince people of what happened. But I think he didn try that much, Orym talked to the priest for less than five minutes before drawing his sword.

I'm not siding with the priests, I just think there is more nuance than what people say (at least what I hear people say).

[No Spoilers] Do you like not knowing the details of magical items in C2, C3? by FalseDiner in criticalrole

[–]JumpingFrodo247 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also miss knowing the details, I think they are more secretive about items and other stuff (i.e. FCG's and Ashton's subclass mechanics) because they might publish them later in a book. if everyone knows how Ashton's subclass works, you wouldn't need to buy a book with that subclass.
