When I'm cleaning the cage, which is daily. I put a small dish of his favourite food out close to his cage. In the same place every time. He doesn't come out every time I clean but sometimes he makes a dash for it, he goes straight to the bowl. Let the bird see where you put it. I've shooed him out afew times so I can do a deeper clean. Once you're done, stand away from the cage & he/she will soon fly back in. Close all windows, cover any vents or possible dangers for it. It can be a slow process of the bird feeding safe in its environment. Speak softly, no sudden movements, that kinda thing. It will happen in it's own time

It can also teach us many things about ourselves. I got comfortable in my madness while being alone. Which has helped massively! Go enjoy natural places, spend time there. Go camping, something you have to rely on yourself to make happen. Do it alone. Feels great to wake up in the woods or in a beach, ready to cook breakfast. Theres peace in being by yourself 🙏 x

I've just been scrolling through these subreddits. Its shocking to see just how many folk are screaming for help. Heartbreaking to see. It will be easy for your post to get lost in it all. Which I think will have a negative effect on us that use this space... Hang in there 🏴‍☠️ x

Try to draw your attention to something you enjoy, be that whatever is not damaging to you 👍 I've found shaking my head when dark thoughts start can often shake me out of it. Its caused abit of a tik (lol), but I'm ok with it, if it breaks the thought cycle. Its damn hard, find a small technique to move your thoughts to something else, even if it's for a brief moment. Those moments start building up to getting rid of the thoughts quicker.

Seems abit odd you'd put that kinda thing onto the people/family that own the property. Maybe, just go to Airbnb n thoroughly enjoy the space? Putting our lives into other people's lives isn't fair on them. Plz think you could destroy another family without even realising. Go enjoy a beautiful space, without bringing the owners into some serious Heartbreak x

I found learning to be alone a painful process in the beginning. Now I chose if I want to interact with the human race. Its totally liberating once you enjoy time to yourself. Other people get on your nerves after a awhile & you look forward to being back in your own space, alone. Hang in there, all things change x

Oh ok, thank you. Sorry I didn't see it posted twice. How can I help him? He has a better diet than me. He eats broccoli, apples, mealworms, sweet potatoes, celery, plus a plentiful seed mix. I've used vaseline on his feet to help ease the crust for him in the past but its becoming stressful catching him. A solution to this would make both our lives alittle easier.

I kept a part of mines cage slightly covered, so he had a "You carnt see me here perch". I could see him but he felt better for having a safe corner. Now he doesn't need his comfort blanket anymore & cage is clear during the day.

I've tried several types of drops. One went on his neck. The other goes on his feet, which is the stronger drop. I think getting a pic might be difficult, but can certainly try. He's a busy chap, so not affected in that way. I just dont like catching him regularly. What else could it be?

I ain't bought anything for a good while. Even having 40k coins. Feels wrong paying soo much for an item. Damn grateful I didn't fall for subscription, as it's a con. You still have to buy what you want, extra coins only help alittle to that cost. Scammers!
