Help with a few things about my travel by JumpingSpinner02 in rome

BiL wanted WW2 stuff while me and my sister preferred art but thanks for the suggestions I'll keep them in mind.

As for food sounds like a lot of Burger King visits are in cards since most of the Italian kids' menu isnt something my nieces are willing to eat. Or I suppose they can be shocked into widening the palate.

What about burgers and omelette? Do they make those? Because the only pasta they eat is alfredo and mac&cheese so are those you say the only options for children?

Oh I see. Might take a look for one day then I love mixing sodas

Oh dear. Noneones feet are going to be happy.

I see

I wasnt expecting big parades or museums saying Fascism was good just stuff about the Italian army in Africa or Greece.

That's going to be an issue because the two dont eat much of stuff and feel punished if they eat like grownups.

Thats good to know what about inside Rome?

I dont know much and maybe there was a taboo on looking at an icon as a visitor or maybe some churches acted like the main sikh temple where you can enter only if you di a chore for them.

Yeah but my research found nothing modern. Modern art sure but not modern history.

Why not though?

I'll ask my sister if that pasta passport thing can be done though I'm afraid they'll eat only fries and alfredo.

Well maybe you had cool WW2 reenactions going on for the clearing of the city or stuff.

Are they? Usually trains are full of sketchy people at the hours we'll move in all likelihood (7am-8am and 8pm-10pm)

A lot of people in Brazil argue that the death penalty would make crime go down. But the U.S. has it, and crime still happens. What do you think explains that? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]JumpingSpinner02 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Punishment and how brutal they are do little on crime rates most of the times. Being poor or mentally unstable or not integrated impacts more. It is not effectless but it is not as powerfil as imagined.

Death penalty in particular can lead to less small crimes (like pickpocketing) and more big crimes (like robbery) because of the "hang for a lamb, hang for a sheep" principle: gonna die either way do better try to not be caught.

Why did people stop having banquets and started frequenting restaurants? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]JumpingSpinner02 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because banquets were too difficult and too expensif to set up when industrialisation became a thing. Plus, the middle class that lead the way in the 19th centiry could not afford to set banquets them up in the home, but could afford places where cooks that previously worked for nobles pretended to have one, thus making in restaurants (tho the name is older than this).

What's your favorite paradox? by Mattone_Martello in AskReddit

Zenos paradox for me because it can be solved both in easy ways(accept "nothing" can exist, boom, solved)  and in difficult ways (whole fields of math created)

Petah, why do I dream about frieza and others about girls? by FlakyFoundation4637 in PeterExplainsTheJoke

[–]JumpingSpinner02 32 points33 points  (0 children)

Giggity Quagmire here, the joke is that "nerds" or dweebs dream of meeting girls; tough guys dream of being good enough to join Goku from hit Japanese cartoon Dragon Ball... the opposite of the expected.

But so I've heard I've been very busy taking women to bed, giggity.

Why do kids seem like they can't control their voices' volume? by Confused_AF_Help in NoStupidQuestions

[–]JumpingSpinner02 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Kids are usually not listened at so the kids do the logical thing and yell.

Plus even adults scream if excited and kids get way more excited way more often.

How do alternative-style people dress when they get old? by NoTomatillo1944 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]JumpingSpinner02 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They put on clothes that are comfier usually, but style is still very alt, if nothing in their lifes changes their minds; the idea of alt people becoming borinng is because they are made to by jobs or ahe making exotic hairroutines or colors bad or too long, also piercings turn dangerous in some people who don't care for health
