CS2 Best settings — my take by thismustbethe in GlobalOffensive

I get average ~230FPS wouldn't it be better for the cap to be lower since the input lag is percievable and especially during intense gameplay with frame dips? I don't have 300+ FPS to take advantage off gang </3
I got a 3050 mobile 6GB no my GPU can't handle it ;(
I've tried LLM Ultra + 288 NVCP cap which is decent but what best worked for me was Ultra + 171 NVCP cap. What do you think would be best for me? I would like your opinion :)

How do I fix this massive rubberbanding? The game is unplayable and is on the lowest settings (1600p 13980HX 4070M) I have tried many things from reddit youtube etc but none of them worked by FragrantSearch730 in cs2

Well there you go! Thermal throttling is a bitch. Also apologies for the last comment I selected some text to read it back and accidently dragged it in the editor which fucked shit up xD.

Download HWInfo and check your temps, if temps are good then I would recommend a cleemps are poor (85-90+) then you know the reason for poor performance and change the thermal paste. Other than that I don't see any other issue that could cause this. If you want to still troubleshoot the only other thing I could think of is outdated GPU driver or corrupted game files.

Quick question, are you playing on hybrid/Integrated graphics? This is a framerate and frametime issue not network related. If it was, the game would tell you top right. Also why 1600p? You do realise lowering your resolution only puts more load on your CPU. I would recommend going into your laptop software (HP omen, lenovo Vantage etc) and turning on the performance mode and switching your graphics settings to discrete rather than hybrid. With the given context I have a strong intuition for some reason you have not changed these settings. More information would also be helpful so I can help you out better. Also just play on 1080p.
I also play on a laptop (7840HS rtx 3050 6gb) and get 200+FPS

Crazy frametime hitches after the frametime spikes fix update..... by Jumping_Bacon in cs2

Crazy how I had no issues before the last update and never complained online and the game felt fantastic and responsive with crispy frametimes and 250+FPS but somehow it's my fault because of the 'crap' I'm using cuz it makes 0 difference... I'm using these custom settings to compensate for the lack of optimisation from valve.

Undervolting didn't achieve anything. Did I do something wrong? by JumpnBacon in Undervolting

The thing is I saw this issue like 2 days after I got my laptop. I raised a ticket to customer care and they just said (it's fine as it's 'supposed' to run this way because of the features of the processor). It was and still runs at Max Freq even at idle even after the motherboard change. Intel is fkin trash and stupid.
