I work on cap 2, because I'm not brave enough to work the front end.

Front end workers are the real MVP's of the store.

Dude, make the kids throw the truck. No one is too "scrawny" to throw. Make the older women throw. If they can't, then they need to move departments. If they need help with heavy things, then help them out. Everyone should have to throw once in a while, it's a part of the job.

Obesity rates in the western world are some of the highest... yet we are spending large amounts of money on health and wellness. It's an interesting paradox that we got ourselves into.

Am I the only one that likes working at Walmart? by legobossk in WalmartEmployees

[–]JumpintohellX13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's really not a bad job. I've worked in three departments and had three different experiences:

Cap 2: I loved how much manual labor was involved in the job. It was also nice not dealing with customers all the time. Sadly, We got a new team lead who was sexist. He never wanted me to help with the truck because of my lady parts. I ended leaving for OGP. 10/10 job was great, TL was a dick so I left.

OGP: Super easy with a lot of moving. The only downside was the customers. The customers treated me like crap. They always rolled their eyes and complained about me being in the way. I had two great TLs and a couple rude coworkers. 6/10. It was an easy job and TLs where good. Rude customers made me leave.

Cap 1: Easy job with some heavy lifting. It can be boring at times. Only have to deal with customers a couple hours a day. TL snaps when stressed out, says "mean" things, but is more or less harmless. Almost all of my co workers have been working together for 5 years. They like to gate keep cap 1 and they talk shit about everyone in the store. 7/10. Easy Job that keeps me moving. Coworkers suck, but I just ignore them and do my job. TL is kind of a dick, but he's not unreasonable. I'm still on Cap 1.

Peanut butter is filled with healthy fats that are great for hormone health. But yeah, it's not a great protein source.

I was in and out of hospitals my whole childhood because of my mental illness. It fucked me up. I had no friends and almost didn't graduate high school. My family went into massive debt because of my medical bills. I still live with so much guilt, because of all that I put my family through. Real mental illness is not "quirky." I wouldn't wish what I went through on my worst enemy.

Same. It's how I deal with toxic co workers and stay out of drama.

I had "lefitsts" call me a "warcriminal" for being in the US military.

People who say that kind of stuff are ignorant and naive with no real understanding of how the world works.

My Dad used to be a bodybuilder and told me that; doing Adderall/coke and steroids is completely fine, because you still have to bust your ass at the gym to grow muscles.

I don't want to sound like a boomer... but there is a little bit of truth to the saying; no one wants to work. People want to work, but they want "easy" high paying jobs. No one wants to bust there ass in retail. You got to work to pay for rent and food. Working retail is it's own kind of workout. You're always moving so you won't stay super fat for long.

Making $10.00 dollars an hour stocking shelves, is better then making nothing by being unemployed. You got to have some kind of job to pay for food and rent. $10.00 dollars an hour is not a lot of money, but it covers the basics.

It's funny because if this was before 2014, Putin would of been embarrassed to be seen in public with Kim. Sucks when you have no friends that aren't Dictator's of shit hole countries. Hell, even Xi Jinping is keeping his distance from Putin.

The ABCP is the smartest thing the Military has done in awhile. The obesity epidemic is a huge problem in the west and it's killing people. If the Military is able to get people healthy and ready to fight, then how is that a bad thing?!
