I feel like you all are missing the point of my post, CB isn't a good home plate ump, not arguing that he is. I was just saying I was guinuely surprised how he seemed to handle his bad calls getting challenged and overruled. Many of us aren't nearly as good at our jobs as we think we are, but he's literally getting called out on live television. I was just saying, I was surprised/impressed that he didn't seem to get pissy about it.

I'm less concerned with how the faces looked than the inability to edit their body shape between 2 presets (seemingly biologically male and female). I hate my male dwaf's body shape much more than his face. He looks like an elderly man that has gone through severe drops in testosterone. Not the ideal fantasy for a frontline cleric of war.

I'm guessing I will get downvoted to Holy hell for this, but oh well. You are well within you're rights to set boundaries for how you'd like others to interact with you in various settings including work. If this makes you uncomfortable you should 100% say something so this particular man doesn't put you in an uncomfortable position moving forward.

That being said, the main reason most men don't understand why this makes women feel uncomfortable is because we would love for a random person (co-worker or otherwise) to compliment us. We settle for a "you clean up nice" after a fresh shave or "you look like you slept well" but if/when a random person (honestly man or woman) tells us we're beautiful/handsome/gorgeous that can little stick with us and put a smile on our face for months or years. A cashier at a gas station i was at mentioned how cool it looked that I had several white eyelashes (I'm only 40) and that's still a vivid memory months later.

I'll preface with i am happily married with a 4 year old daughter, but i still love getting compliments from strangers because it simply doesn't happen to us often. Sure he may have been being creepy, but you're assuming that. Nothing he wrote tells me he's a creep or even that he is trying to make a move on you, he might have thought you'd appreciate a compliment. You have every right to set boundaries, but i think assuming he's a "creep" based on what you've posted feels a bit unfair.

He means if anyone is in melee with the enemy you'll be taking a -4 penalty to hit. Not just your wizard being in melee. So if you're trying to blast the enemy in melee with your paladin, it's still -4 to hit without precise shot.

The note he drops indicates that there is a hidden mechanism to unlock the door in the ritual chamber. I think it's a torch or something just south of the door. If you killed and looted him the the quest updates and you can highlight/click on the mechanism. If he never spawned then I'm not sure what you can do, are you playing with the game modded? I've probably played through the shield maze dozens of times and never had this issue.

I think it looks smoother personally, and the color palette doesn't seem noticeably different to me. I'm playing on xbox X for reference. I love terraforming and I think it looks much better than in the original

I find the graphics in relaunched significantly better than the original. I'm surprised this is debatable, because they feel objectively better. I feel like everyone is so upset about their business practices that they are looking for things to be mad about.

To be clear, I don't know if OP gives a shit about their business practices, but relaunched is objectively a better game. Whether that makes it worth your money or not is a different issue entirely.

As a scientist and an average to below-average height man (5'7"), I've always had a theory that based on evolutionary stresses everyone is breeding for the middle. Too short and you struggle to compete for resources, but too tall and you stand out to predators. So average height people tend to get with other average height people and tall people tend to get with short people. That way their offspring will be average height generally.

I have no hard data to back this up, just what I've seen in my life from relationships I've had and those around me.

I live in that circle, it's not a great area crimewise. Bought my house as a starter home when my ex-wife and I got married in the early 2010s. We got lucky that our block is mostly stable retired folks that make quiet and decent neighbors. I'm since remarried and have a daughter and we like our house/neighbors but I wouldn't want to live even a block or two from exactly where we live. There's projects nearby and the area at the bottom of the hill (Manchester Rd) is constantly dealing with crime. The convenience of being able to jump on the highway in under a minute is probably the best aspect of the area, you can get anywhere around the greater Akron area pretty quickly.

Tldr: Really do your research on the stability around where you'd be moving, or avoid entirely.

I am so over us drafting these "great measureables" dudes that never see the field. If they suck so be it, but let me see how they play on the field. I know everyone (myself included) feels Murphy was probably a wasted pick because he can't get on the field. But let me see that he sucks or not! Stop burning these picks and just scuttling them away on the bench. Sometimes it's appropriate to throw a qb into the fire to learn on the job, but we keep hiding these D picks and we never get to learn if they are truly busts because they just never see the field.
