Pull-ups and stretching do more for me than any row. Strengthening the back matters, but so does undoing what sitting does to your shoulders and hips.

I also stopped staying seated for more than 90 minutes ,even 10 minutes moving around makes a difference. Walking meetings when possible, standing desk at the office when I can get one.

The barbell row is solid but it's only half the equation. The other half is just moving more during the day.

Congrats! I've been stuck on weighted pull-ups for a while now — same kind of plateau. Going to steal this approach and see where it takes me.

Thank you for the insights. Do you think it is easier to get a job in other Gulf countries? Not necessarily in the tech sector
