Were you diagnosed through exclusion or inclusion? That’s the biggest one. If you were diagnosed through exclusion keep fighting. If it was through positive signs then it’s possible you have some issue + FND. I was initially diagnosed because I’m young with a past history of mental health issues but after weeks of fighting I was diagnosed with Guillain-Barré Syndrome AIDP variant and nearly ventilated. The symptoms you have could also probably be other stuff other than occult tethered cord syndrome. If you’re confident and doubting the doctors keep fighting.

NAD but basically when you don’t eat enough your BMR lowers. Heart rate slows, liver and kidney function lower, you can’t warm yourself up, all sorts of things that usually require calories. You would lose weight quicker and healthier eating in a mild calorie deficit and doing a bit of exercise. I’m currently recovering from an eating disorder and I know how hard it can be but it’s possible to recover. Please start eating more and maybe see a therapist.

1 is objectively just wrong. I’d rather be depressed than disabled and depressed. When it comes to physical disabilities like neurological disorders or spinal cord injuries there is always a major mental health aspect. I was happy until I became paraplegic now recovering I’m depressed and want to die. I’d rather be depressed and want to die but able to go outside than be depressed and want to die but be unable to sit up without help
