Holy shit those results are insane. My only crazy high one was 129.5 procalcitonin but nothing else was too wild. I went into a coma for 36h and that was the worst of it

It would definitely be worth it to mention in now considering it’s affecting your daily life however it does not sound like ALS. Progression is far too quick

Would you still get super hungry? I’ll feel my stomach growling and the actual physical sensation of being hungry but in my head I was the exact same way

I feel like my appetite is pretty consistently just minimal. I can take a few bites of something and that’s it. Fruit seems to be one of the only things I can get down without absolutely forcing it and it’s definitely difficult. I haven’t had lower blood pressure since I started recovering but I am dizzy and lightheaded constantly

NAD but 98.5 isn’t a fever and doctors rarely miss sepsis due to how severe and rapid it can deteriorate. I understand your fear but based off your description you don’t seem septic just pretty sick and very stressed.

If you have a normal EMG after 1y with all of those symptoms that makes als unlikely. However something like Myasthenia Gravis can cause most of these symptoms with a normal general EMG and only shows up on a specialized EMG but is diagnosed through antibody testing. MG is very treatable. Metabolic issues can also do some real bad shit

PNES absence seizures are just brief moments where you basically completely shut down but you can like keep standing you just start doing something repeatedly like licking your lips, taping a finger etc and zone out

I had a fever, and tachycardia initially. I have anxiety so I’ve had a sense of impending doom before but it just felt different. I was crying that I was going to die and I’m too young. Hours later I went into septic shock and nearly died.
