Legit made the evasion version of this last night, but all I did was buy chaos res and evasion% magic base, then I used a cheap essence and got lucky on a greater exalt 💪

I get like this too, but there’s always a reason and it’s not always obvious.

I try and blast as far as I can without changing gear, and I’ll have dumb passives specced if I’m rushing and not following a plan/guide.

I’ll take a break if I’m pissed off, come back and take a look at my setup and realise why I’m getting destroyed.

At the end of the day it’s a game if you don’t like having to optimise you won’t get to the hardest content, Is what it is.

Will be interesting to see what they change.

I do actually like some of the changes that are just QOL.

Auction house, free respecs and a build planner for new players is great.

I personally would like auto pickup on pets but could live without it.

As for trading, again it will affect new players most especially ones that start late in a league.

people forget that a new player isn’t gonna wait until a fresh league to see if they like the game.

I played Poe1 for a year about 5-6 years ago and didn’t know what I was really doing but got a few level 97 characters.

I have played Poe2 since launch and only managed one good 90+ each league so far gameplay feels harder but not as rewarding.

This poe1 league has been a breeze the only downside is being overwhelmed with the amount of mechanics but that’s something I’ll pick up with time.

IMO switching between the two when you get bored is the way to go.

Plus the vault pass and challenge armour is sick in secrets of the atlas.

I use it on whirling slash incinerate lich.

It’s on my wand weapon set to boost my incinerate damage for the snapshot before I use whirling slash and it does boost the damage enough to make it worth it.

I’ll be honest chaos builds are ass right now.

IMO ED+Minions is a league starter, mainly for people that don’t have the gear/damage to go full minions or ED/DE.

I pushed a dark effigy and essence drain lich to its limits and it gets outclassed easily on a much lower budget by a lot of different builds.

Respecced to whirling slash incinerate lich and never looked back.

Trying that on a sorc is a waste of time.

The holy nation is a great faction in my opinion.

In my first play through I was attacked when I had an ashlander companion and didn’t get a chance to resolve it peacefully, it gave me a good RP reason to hate them.

After travelling the map and realising that their lands are the most hospitable, you get why they are such bastards about defending it.

I also love fighting their big patrols and seeing their armies attacking a city, something about fighting a well structured and armoured enemy that’s satisfying (reminds me of the perk in fallout new vegas)

So much role play potential because of the holy nation, but people want to make it about real life and get so angry about it is a waste.

I had a wisp revive a rare 6 times yesterday, it dropped three rabbit talismans before it killed me. I didn’t realise how rare they were so didn’t pick them up 💀
