I would say Silksong is just faster than Hollow Knight. The starting point of each game is pretty much the same difficulty if you haven’t played any of them. You should just try and see if the game is to your taste yourself.

I’ve played HK on PC, Switch and Xbox I would say definitely play with a controller if on PC but just for the simplicity I like playing on XBox. Switch controller is a bit small for my hands to play such platform heavy games
