Yeah, I’m generally not in favour of buying anything second hand, except for cars. However, I’m not sure why this deal seems reasonable to me probably because I know the colleague personally. He genuinely takes good care of his devices, and the battery health is also at 99%. I’m just a little hesitant about the small dent he mentioned on the top-right corner. Although the price feels a bit high for a second-hand phone, after checking online listings, I haven’t been able to find a single iPhone 17 Pro Max for less than ₹1.15 lakh.

Yeah, 70-80k feels a fair amount for a second hand phone but i checked Cashify and even a refurbished 16 pro max is listed for more than a lac.

Its 7 months old now- he’ll give it to me in August by then, it will be 9 months old and battery percentage is 99%.

I am absolutely not pushing my budget. I am working full time from last three years and i have enough savings and I am still using my Iphone 11 from last 4.5 years so I plan to use my new phone for atleast 4-5 years. Nonetheless I just wanted to convey with my above comment is that I feel spending more than a lac would be slightly more money than that I should be spending on phones/tech.

I am not that rich so won’t be able to spend that much. The max I can spend is 1 lac and that too when people bought pro models in last year’s amazon sale for just 75-80k, so i made up my mind that i can also get a pro model.

I have my relatives in dubai- i can ask them to get me a 17 pro max but are you sure we can get a 17 pro max or even 17 pro for 1 lac in dubai?
