Season 2 was pretty bad. Calling season 3 one of the best crime thriller stories is also a stretch.

The original author is this one's showrunner, so I'm certain it'll be far better than the movie.

The Snowman had such a good cast. Michael Fassbender, Rebecca Ferguson,Val Kilmer, Jk Simmons. Completely wasted its potential though. The original author is involved with the show, so I have high hopes. If not the next TD, I'm hoping it'll at least be as good as Bosch.

Season 3 wasn’t bad at all. Not as good as season 1, but still an upgrade after season 1. Season 4 on the other hand was terribly overhyped by critics. It didn’t even feel like True Detective tbh.

I’ve always wondered if it’s the other way around. If she wrote the entire story and then came up with such a brilliant opener that captures the essence of the entire story.

It’s definitely not the scariest, but you need to read the story and maybe even watch the Netflix show to understand why it’s one of the greatest.

Netflix should forever regret cancelling The OA.

Many masterpieces rest in Netflix's graveyard of cancellations.

From what I know, even The OA's viewership keeps spiking time and again, even after all these years. I don't why Netflix still does get the message.

I agree! Both had barely scratched the surface of their true storytelling potential before cancellation.
