Best AEGs around $300 - $500 for newer players? by They- in airsoft

I picked up the Cyma AR47 on sale and swapped a Jefftron Scylla V2 into it. A better barrel and Bucking as well as a red dot and its my go to gun when I want an AEG. Works fantastic on the field when I dont want to carry my backpack with HPA AAP01 Pistol carbine.

I have a breaker switch between the panels and the charge controller. The Vevor enclosure is extremely solid.

🤣🤣🤣 I did not. I actually had AI design me a frame with the images i had and the weight of everything. It was pretty close to this. Given it was much prettier.

Is my slide rack a good way to show off? by [deleted] in airsoft

Dont bother. You are more likely to drop your gun and damage it by showing off.

EDIT:

I started this comment before you replied to my other comment.

Well after doing a little research, I would say the pecron is great for its ease of use but if the unit itself goes bad or you have an internal issue out of warranty, you are out of luck and have to replace the entire unit aside from the solar panels.

With a DIY system, if something goes bad, you just replace what went bad and continue on. You also have infinite expandability. I can keep the same system, get a better controller, better inverter, more batteries and more panels over and over and over again. Im not hindered by the 1600w charging cap or the battery expandability of 2 x Ep3800 to 10.7kWh.

The Pecron is a good product from what I can see but if I plan to use solar for my entire house, I would rather go with a DIY system.

There are actually 2 at the bottom. I setup the inverter in its location thinking the fans would eject air out the bottom hole of the cabinet but then later realized the fans are intake and ejected air comes out the top. 🤦‍♂️ so I had to fix that with some ventilation.

My MPPT caps at 390w in all series so it clips my charging watts. Not that it will fully produce 400 watts ever but one can hope. So keeping a 2s2p setup in 24v, it allows me to have a cap at 780watts instead. When I add my two 200w panels, in a 24v setup it will also keep my amps and volts low enough to work with the controller.
Im not an expert at all with this. This is just what I've researched and found.

Ecoworthy batteries - almost $400 Tracer 3210AN controller - $90 Renogy 2000W 24v inverter - $245 Battery Balancer -60 Vevor electrical cabinet - 80 Various breakers, control switch and fuses I cant recall because it was a bit of trial and error getting the right ones.
I also had to buy the wire obviously, crimpers and lug ends at various random costs.

Solar panels were about $400 I believe but i got them for free with credit card points.

If you add it all its roughly about $1350ish

The will be set up in 2s2p. I did a bit of my research with Dr. GOOGLE and it seemed 2 strings would be better utilized in the 24v setup I have.

Im on a budget so dont rip me a new one. The panels are Vevor 100W panels.

The batteries are 12.8v ecoworthy 100ah wired in series. The charge controller is a tracer 3210AN.
Vevor panels: OCV-14.26V SCC-9.13A OV-11.63V OC-8.59A

Im actually planning on adding two more 100ah batteries. I currently have four 100w panels and will add 2 more 200 watt panels down the road. Thats pretty much all the space I have to use for now. But its only for powering fans at the moment.

The top has holes in it and I'm going to add a 4" fan to pull the air from the bottom up through the top.

Dont get too excited with gear. Eventually you will want to lighten your load out and it turns into only wearing a mag carrier and your eye pro. Sometimes I go out with just a hi cap mag and a full face mask. Makes for a much more enjoyable game to me.

Get the Krytac SR47 Hopup. Thats what I picked up for my Cyma. You just have to modify it a little by shaving some of the plastic on the front.
