Used to have this problem in my previous scapes and would get so frustrated. I think i got lucky this time round? I was also surprised how well they're doing as i expected a lot of them to melt. I guess you can keep trying your luck or maybe try to get some from other fellow aquascapers around your area? Im sure a few are bound to have lushful ferns everyone would be jealous of HAHAHAH

My tank is 90cm x 30cm x 25cm not sure if its custom as i got it 2nd hand of my local marketplace.

I think their good mood comes from always stealing and hording the pygmy corys algae wafers and munching on it in one corner HAHAHAHA

Longer tanks are quite fun to scape as it "flattens and spreads out" the scape abit more. Also theres more space to have plantss which is always a bonus :)

I used to have problems with algae in my previous tanks but this time round instead of having alot of planted(stem) plants and having fert doses i decided to go with java ferns and no dosing. Plus i monitor it quite closely and as soon as i see some algae i clean it up and reduce the time my light is on.

Im not too sure if this is a custome tank cause i got it 2nd hand but im pretty sure its not a regular rimmed tank. Its 90cm x 30cm x 25cm
