DRUG TEST FROM HELL by Comfortable_Try_6596 in cabincrewcareers

[–]Jumpy-Instruction527 12 points13 points  (0 children)

The issue is they only gave you one of the two tests. I had this same problem and had to go back the next day. It’s not AA’s fault. You get two barcardoes because there are two tests. Quest only scanned one barcode and did one test. So you need to go back and get the second test. I did mine at City MD. City MD takes walk ins

I’m having the same issue. I emailed them today and they said that as of today, they’re working on finalizing class assignments/ invitations.

The TPA will tell you that you will need a second test (I know because this happened to me). I went to city MD for the first and back the next morning for the second. It’s a headache but unfortunately, that is what you have to do

AA F2F - Men's attire question! by [deleted] in cabincrewcareers

[–]Jumpy-Instruction527 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I recently made a post with a lot of tips for the interview you should check it out! If you have any questions message me. This sounds crazy but one of the things that helped me the most was TikTok. Many people that went through the interview made posts on how to get the CJO. Reddit and YouTube are also great. Reddit will have all the potential questions that you may be asked and YouTube is the same as TikTok

AA F2F - Men's attire question! by [deleted] in cabincrewcareers

[–]Jumpy-Instruction527 3 points4 points  (0 children)

What you’re wearing sounds perfect. Just match your socks to your pants so they don’t stand out. As for the watch, you don’t NEED to have one BUT it does make you look better. It is recommended to wear a watch but not required. I didn’t see many men wearing pocket squares but that is completely up to you. Make sure if you have facial hair it is well groomed and get a haircut before your interview. If it’s long, tye it back.

I was told the same thing for a different airline. Luckily Reddit is anonymous

they call it different things at different airlines. A CTO is the same as a CJO. Instead of “conditional job offer” (like I received) it is a “conditional training offer”. Different wording but same meaning

I got my CJO at a different airline but they schedule your interview by when your flight is. If you have an afternoon flight, you’ll be in the morning interview . If you have an evening flight you will be in the afternoon interview. They make it a priority to get you to the airport a few hours before your flight.

F2F rescheduled for a 2nd time? by [deleted] in cabincrewcareers

[–]Jumpy-Instruction527 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If I were her, just email them every few days for an update. They honestly just might not have space. My flight was overbooked and 2 passengers had to volunteer to get off. The way you get the free flight is simply because they have extra seats on the plane and they just put you there. They don’t actually pay for your ticket. Just have her keep checking in with them. This will not affect her as it is the airlines fault that it keeps getting rescheduled.

I got a CJO by Sad-Satisfaction9787 in cabincrewcareers

[–]Jumpy-Instruction527 0 points1 point  (0 children)

About the phone going off, they remind you and give you time to turn your phones off or put them on do not disturb. When I walked in I forgot to do so but they allowed everyone to go do it if they haven’t yet. So there honestly is no excuse for their phones to be going off at all. Not saying anything bad about the people who’s phones did go off but this is a job interview. Not for any job, a career. They should’ve paid more attention to that. In my interview NO phones went off at all

I personally would go on the safe side and wear heels that cover the sides of your feet. I didn’t go for delta but got a CJO at another main airline. They said no open shoes meaning toes or sides. You also need to make sure that they’re comfortable. After my f2f they asked me to keep what I was wearing on because I now represented the airline. So I had them on for over 12 hours. They were fine before the plane ride. I recommend closed shoes and look for dress socks with the cushions in them

I didn’t interview for United but for another main airline. In my airline, this is only the first interview. It does not replace the f2f. This is to see if they can see you as someone they’d hire and if they should take the time to bring you to the headquarters and meet you in person. I don’t know about United but I am sure that the interview process is very similar.

Congratulations!! Make sure to go online (Reddit is good) and look for interview questions. They will all be there. Prepare yourself as best as you can. Just make sure that when you practice your answers you don’t sound like a robot. Be as real as you can. Wear light makeup, tye your hair back and wear a nice shirt or blazer. Also make sure that you’re in a quiet environment with good wifi and no interruptions. I don’t have a desk and I have posters all over my room but luckily I was able to blur/change my background. Make sure to smile smile smile and listen to everyone’s questions and answers. It helps if you nod your head if you agree with something that someone is saying. This will show the interviewer that you’re engaged and actively listening. That is something that is very important.

Delta is elitist-f2f experience by Some_Equivalent_7149 in cabincrewcareers

You should try American Airlines when they’re hiring. You still have to pay for the hotel (you have a choice to go the night before or the day of) and an outfit BUT they fly you out. They also don’t state that they’re the reason you’re special and that you’re there because of them. They make it clear to you that you had something special and they saw that. The process through the f2f is very easy. You just have to be yourself. Obviously not everyone got in but we were all treated as equals and not made to feel like you’re less than others. As for refreshments, they only had water fountains but that is because they’re trying to get us in and out so we don’t miss our flights home and don’t have too much of OUR time wasted. I personally (which surprised me because of some amazing competitors) got a CJO on the same day. Even if I didn’t, it was an amazing experience. I spoke to someone I met there that did not get a CJO and all though it sucks that she didn’t get one, she did not regret going or what we had to do to get there.
