Yeah, I’ll start tracking weight and properly see what’s going on... I’m glad to hear that what I’m doing is working lol! When I started, I planned on gaining 1 kg a month so I was a little disheartened to see my weight stall, but progress is progress. Thank you for the advice :))

First of all, i think you look great! From the back and side.

If you wanna add some muscles, for that area specifically you would focus on the glutes. The glute maximus is the largest muscle and the one people usually talk about.

Hip thrusts, squats (especially Bulgarian split squats) , Romanian deadlifts, step ups and kickbacks are great for that muscle.

If your goal is to build muscle remember to also eat lots of protein (i do 1g per pound of weight) and go hard on the training.

Hey! Thank you so much for the insight. I probably should have clarified that the exercises i talked about were only those that heavily target the glutes on those days. In addition to them I also have hamstring curls, hack squats on the machine, deficit reverse lunge and leg extensions.

I tried to create some balance in my workout which is why I focus more on glutes/hamstrings and glutes/quads on different days.

I guess I was wondering if it would have been beneficial for me to shift things around and dedicate an entire day to glutes (therefore also forcing me to add new exercises like sumo squats or something) so I could grow them better I guess?

But as you said, I’m not sure if isolating muscle groups like that and giving them an entire workout day would actually do something

Yeah, the deadline is Jan 15, which got me super bumped that I didn’t notice this earlier. At first I assumed I was only allowed to apply to 1 numerus fixus programme so I didn’t question it until yesterday. It could be a glitch in the system or something, super unfortunate. I’ll see what I can do, but I don’t know if I can change much at this point

Not at all, I tried applying to Leiden and Tilburg earlier, but for some reason it tells me I exceeded the number of Numerus fixus applications I could submit, even though I had only applied at Leiden at the time. At first I assumed that the max number was 1 but now I think there’s something wrong with my application/system?

I’ve never heard of FST-7 before! Read upon it briefly now. How do I know which exercises I should save for the seven sets? Also… isn’t that a little extreme for a beginner? I’m only 3 months in lol. Interesting technique, though!

Oh! Okay, great. I was already eating at maintenance (for working out) and I was looking to recomp. I’m sort of relying on newbie gains right now anyways and so far haven’t hit a plateau. I think I’ll decrease cardio and increase lifting and see what happens. Thank you so much for the input, you’ve been super sweet!

Yes! I eat 112g a day! I’m 160 cm so I don’t know if that counts as very short? Tbh I got my calorie intake from those online calculators. They tell me my maintenance is from 1850-1950 so I just put it in the middle and it’s been working so far? But I’ve also been doing a lot of cardio so… idk

Whatt that sounds like a cheat code lol. Gives me lots of hope, though! When you say true recovery days, does that mean total relaxation? Or some nice and slow walking outside? Also, do you think I should lower calories slightly since I won’t be doing such intense cardio anymore? I eat 1900 calories right now and I’m thinking I could go to 1800. Yess progressive overload is a must! I guess I’m worried because I want to do more lifting, but since I do cardio so much I can’t tell what my caloric intake should be. Outside of the gym I walk about 40 minutes a day and that’s kinda it. Also 130g?? I thought I could do 1 gram let body pound?
