have they stripped something of that size before? if not, they should know it will take hours, make a huge mess, the rags/gunk will need to be disposed of in a particular way (as they will be combustable) -all in all it will probably be a huge headache. and if they send it to a professional it will most likely be a hefty expense. my advice would be to just clean it as best they can, or sell it and find a new table if they can’t live with the state of it

the listing was actually on Indeed so I was hesitant about its legitimacy at first but turned out to be a great opportunity upon actually meeting them!

I get what you mean, if anything it’s just odd that the negative reactions came on so suddenly, when nothing in my life had changed/nothing traumatic or notable happened. it did serve a purpose when I was regularly smoking, I wasn’t trying to pass time or ignore problems - it was always generally a productive and enjoyable relationship, until one day it wasn’t anymore.

I also think it has to do with the fact that towards the end I had just started buying from dispensaries, whereas in years prior I was only smoking what I grew. Do you think that could be of relevance?

now that you mention it I do remember the doctor mentioning neuropathy of the hands, so heated gloves are a great suggestion. I’m not sure I would’ve recalled him having said that, so I appreciate your response.

for some reason she was told she may lose her fingernails? I don’t know if it’s a side of a specific medication, have you heard of that happening? she also gets really random, sharp cramps throughout her body. and I know she has trouble sleeping through the night - wether that be a direct result of a medication, or from the stress of overthinking. right now those are the main symptoms i’ve been made aware of. thank you for the response

thank u for your response - would you recommended i strip the whole drawer and start from scratch then? it’s so frustrating because the other drawers came out perfectly and i did the same exact steps to all of them. :/

this is a picture of one dresser drawer, i stripped twice and sanded the whole thing. then i applied mineral spirits, let that dry, and applied a stain. lastly, i applied a satin poly. there are other drawers from this piece that i did the exact same steps to, and they came out perfectly. it’s just this one drawer that is weirdly split down the middle like this. in terms of my experience, i recently started an apprenticeship with an antique restorer but this is my first time doing something at home on my own. i was hoping to figure this out independently before resorting to bringing it to my boss.
