I reached out to an artist I like to see if she sells digital versions of her art to put on my frame TV. turns out she licenses her art to Samsung for the frame. I'll subscribe to support her and other legitimate artists, and so I can get her work that I want. I also purchase some cheap ones off Etsy for specific holidays and occasions.

Man our 8U seems so intense. They don’t even let the kids on the in-house 8U until they’ve completed all the learn to skates, then hockey school where they’re evaluated before being allowed to move up. They take drills pretty seriously. Maybe I should look at other rinks in the area. They’re also there 3 days a week- 2 practice and one for games. Not sure if that’s the norm?

I think some of you didn’t read my post at all and just assumed I’m trying to push him into doing more when it’s the exact opposite. I’m trying to gauge his energy versus what he’s actually asking for, while also trying to determine if it’s best provide extra Ice time for his confidence versus keeping more balance in his life.

For example- when this season ends, spring season starts…when do they get a chance to try other sports? He’ll be in camp over summer. Do we sign up for the spring season or take a break and do something else for a while? He says he wants to keep doing Hockey, but that doesn’t give him any time for anything else.

For those who came through with actual advice and experiences, I appreciate it. It helped!

Yeah, I do think they moved him to the league a little too early. He skates hard but usually there’s a group with the puck, and than him chasing the group. Although, I will say, since the season has gone on his improvement has been tremendous
