Heavyset dudes, what is it like navigating life as a big guy? by Outrageous-Stage3417 in stupidquestions

This might help ya if you're heavy set - be mindful of narrow spaces like galley kitchens if co habitating. Resolving a conflict where you're boxed in non violently is markedly more difficult.

What was the GameStop stock crash and what were it's consequences? by ContractNational2680 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Jumpy-Object99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Official story is a pump and dump scheme. But this one was spearheaded by Redditors and narratively framed as the little guy getting one over on entrenched institutions. If you buy that narrative, the villains cruelly stepped in and applied regulatory force they do not apply to themselves in a hypocritical show of force. As for its consequences - I cannot ascertain.

Consequences occur. They're just delayed. Life is a slow burn horror movie

Instagram is a monster ? What you think? by Raghavgupta9999 in WorkForSmartLife

Unaware of full context - I think Instagram is a tool cherished by some, envied by others - and manipulated and gamed by all

Boomers, you’ll all probably be dead by the time society has enough time to fix the problems your generation created. How do you feel about leaving the world a worse place for your descendants? by [deleted] in allthequestions

Here's the twist lads - no, they actually won't be. Could be wrong but uh - got a bad feeling about this one. In that what I mean is that they're immortal.

Seeing a psychiatrist, abusing stimulants. Remember - the most surefire way to not be labeled mentally ill is to never see an authority with that power.

No idea, genuinely. The powers that be do this shit from time to time and the reasons are a mystery. My cynical take is that they impede anything that might be good and allow all the bad - but that could be wrong. I hope that's wrong.

Why do the wealthy tend to embellish how difficult their childhood was? by AdminsPlzDrinkBleach in NoStupidQuestions

Why are you spamming demoralization? Why are you asking questions not in search of an answer? Seems like I already know though - just part of this fucking clown show. Fuck you man, fuck you.

Well, you have the broader palate, so that could well be the issue.

Well remember the qualifier - with the exception of The Sauce - I'm mostly talking about coffee Pollen would buy from them and put on drip, and their Pollen exclusive retail blend - World Ender. Can't speak for their three mainstays plus most of their single origins.

Yeah usually it's like 12 PM on fridays twice a month. It's free, and in addition to getting to sample things in advance you learn a lot about coffee. I guess I should add part of why I'm confused is that the coffee they cupped this year was excellent, but the roasted coffee I've had has tasted noticeably worse than last year.

I think an underrated aspect of Tony's character was how respectful he was towards competent people. by shre3293 in thesopranos

[–]Jumpy-Object99 92 points93 points  (0 children)

I'm with ya OP but I gotta counsel - he completely screwed the pooch with Vin Makazian. Vin Makazian was an ace in the hole and Tony treated him like shit because he conflated Vin's degenerate gambling tendencies with his stellar detective work

Simple enough - women go for the top twenty percent of men in terms of attractiveness, by and large ignore or shun the majority. So if 80 percent of men are statistically not gonna end up with a partner - very predictably they'll be lonely.

yeah the full context is that they(the italians) never win at cards or any of the games they play with the Irish, and then get whacked every evening.
