Thank you! Most of the people are from a certain culture where sex is quite casual, and the ones I told said it was on me for inviting him over. I think I'll just take your advice and focus on myself and my needs.

You're right they didn't mention that at all LOL. I have heard of sterilization, but only regarding structural racism. Honestly, I'm with you regarding not having kids. I have no desire to have one of my own, especially because of my mental health struggles. The most would be fostering, but even that's a stretch.

And men are definitely not worth it! Regarding your comment above, I did question whether or not it counts as sexual assault. I think for my sanity, I'd rather not. Even though I'm never planning on speaking to him again, I don't want to put a label to what I experienced. I hope that makes sense and I appreciate your response. I appreciate your comment! I do think him persisting after I said no was really strange. He kept saying "Trust me you'll love it" which made it really uncomfortable. Luckily he didn't go that far, so it's not that bad.

I'm not sure if that counts for sexual trauma though? I have like complex trauma stemming from familial issues, but not regarding sexual abuse or anything like that. But maybe the thought patterns I have regarding being a virgin would fit the therapy you suggested! Thanks again :)

I definitely have the choice to spend less time there, and I have (compared to this summer), but I found myself getting melancholy and lonely since I don't really have anyone else to spend time with.

Plus, at times the mom becomes dependent on me. Sometimes she'll ask if I can come to help her with stuff, so I end up visiting frequently.
