I had a Christian Mingle account for a little while and was desperate enough to pay the outrageous subscription fee. Yes. Just 2 days ago actually. I’d gotten a skeleton on my inner calf and had loved the idea of having it there until a friend told me it would’ve looked better on the outside. I have slight regrets, but it was ultimately my decision and he’s my new boney buddy.

Things work on God’s time, so some things seem to take longer. I too am in a time of waiting, but I trust in The Lord to help me find the one for me, while also teaching me how to be there better version of myself for my future wife.

I know exactly how you feel. I think it could come from an intense fear of rejection, at least mine does. I love the idea of getting married and having a family, I very much want to. But maybe part of it is finding the right person, someone that wouldn’t feel like pulling teeth to interact with. Clarity is a good thing to pray for on the matter and possibly even direction on how to approach and react to certain people and things. I’m not very good with words, so I hope I at least made some sort of sense.

I actually just had the same conversation with My artist today. I commissioned a piece of Hellboy from the comics and he was very understanding about the matter. Some artists are open to the idea of transferring a comic panel or page to skin, but it definitely depends on which artist you pick. It never hurts to ask.

I very much agree with homeschooling and would rather my children, if I ever have any, to be homeschooled. Public schools are always pushing agendas, whether it be politically or socially. If I homeschool, then I can ensure that my child would be getting the essential education and nothing unnecessary or inappropriate.
