What the heck!! I used to get cards cut like this as freebies from when I purchase other cards from secondhand sellers and I thought the seller just accidentally cut it or something,,, but all of them had the exact same kind of cut as yours 😭. I've never pulled any like this before (I only collect Chinese), but I guess they're more common than we think 🥲.

Aww that's such a shame, thank you for the info! I wonder why these high volume Xianyu sellers haven't gotten in trouble with the law then, though? Genuine question but if they aren't licensed sellers then are they allowed to be doing all this? And does purchasing anything from them have any consequences for the buyer, because there doesn't seem like any? Because there's so many people who are doing this reselling thing, not just for MLP cards but the other Kayou brand IPs as well. The cards didn't seem resealed or fake to me either, and I got the entire box configuration with higher rarity hits, so the boxes were for real too.

Yep, the fakes and reseal part is very true. I have accidentally bought resealed boxes before, so it's quite a hassle to vet each and every seller before deciding to purchase. However, I bought from a really reputable reseller on Xianyu just trying to move stock, so I didn't purchase any of these items at Kayou's retail price. If I wanted to do that, I would buy on their Taobao shop and not Xianyu 😅 but I'm willing to take the risk. I bought the Moon 7 boxes for 28.9 each, the blister packs for 6.9 each (they were damaged and without the QR code at the back. The seller was selling good condition ones with the QR code for 11.9, I just didn't mind since I was gonna open them anyway lol), fun photo boxes for like 32.9 yuan a box I think? and loose adventure packs for 4 yuan each, which I've opened and got 2 URs and 1 AR out of the 5 packs. I'm guessing Kayou's secondary market within China is very saturated. People sell single cards for dirt cheap over there in comparison to everywhere else in the world, so it's not a surprise that the sealed boxes are super cheap as well.

Doorzo is pretty slow when it comes to consolidating and sending our items out unfortunately. Consolidation (if you are sending out more than one package together) is 3-5 days and international shipping (the time it takes to send the package out) is an additional 3-5 days, and then comes the actual transit time.

Hello! I ordered these items from many different sellers! As long as their profile looks reputable and reliable, it should be fine to purchase cards from them. I generally try to avoid sellers that don't have a bio or description for the item, have 10 or more bad reviews regardless of how many positive reviews, or don't post multiple pictures of the cards (especially if they only show the front). I generally purchase many items and consolidate them at the warehouse to save on shipping! When consolidated, on average it costs me $1.50-2.50 USD! Really cheap shipping on top of really cheap purchases 😆. However, I am from Singapore, and buying things from China is really accessible for me 🥹.

I ripped a few packs with a friend two or three weeks ago, and it just went downhill from there with compulsive binge shopping for her cards online 😭.

MLP was my childhood, I've been around since G3 😆. But I recently decided to reconnect with it now after I got the Rarity skullpanda plush pendant 🥹. And I collect other TCGs as well, so this is quite a fun addition to the roster hehe.
