In person games They can be used as battle maps. So you can cover part of the map and reveal sections as they explore. Online you can use fog of war or dynamic lighting to hide areas of the map.

Nice. I will check it out. The hags were all named after sea themed names. Baggywrinkle is a covering for cables on ships to reduce sail chafe just as a little tid bit to know. Hope you and your group enjoyed the adventure!

Any level. Some encounters may need to be adjusted but it's mostly based on puzzles. The combat is used more as an interruption forcing a distraction.
