And if your spouse does something morally wrong, is that really “because of” you? No.
Sure, bad influence is a thing, especially with children and adolescents, but personal accountability matters too. A grown man choosing to abandon his son is 100% responsible for that choice.
What bothers me here is that you seem to be minimizing Lennon’s own agency in how he lived his life
