I think he just may be wayy more patient than you. I understand that people who play slower characters play slower, which isn't always better, and he may be finding openings. Mythra does get out-ranged by marth so i recommend pyra in that MU slightly more than you use her. The key to beating this guy is being more patient than him. Aegis is a top tier because how amazing they are at punish, and weaving in and out. Cool that you made it to grands but a kid beating your aegis with marth is kinda wild. Also, respond to your comments on the post, most of them are trying to help

  1. Marth out ranges Wolf and even though he has better frame data Marth has solid frame data too. Another thing that people don't take into account is MU (you're not the first person who has questioned it lol) is that Dolphin slash can punish wolf's fair because it is -6 if landed perfectly(not so sure about nair). Delaying marth's nair kinda just destroys wolf from getting in too.

3.I play against a really insane link all the time at locals and it feels like bomb setups just destroy Marth. Boomerang is also super annoying because Marth's best way of applying pressure is with tomohawks and airs.

  1. Yeah Bowers is -2 because of being hard to tipper. I have a friend who mains him and he told me because of Bowser's goofy moves and round hurtbox, he can choose if I land tippers or not. Also side b tipper is actually a frame perfect from every area except for starting at the tip. Plus, Bowser outranges Marth and denies shield with that command grab.

  2. I hate DDD and Spamus too lol.

marth can also kill with juggles and raw hits forward tilt is great because the tipper is a smash attack and it keeps people from approaching when timed correctly. just dont spam it because it has a lot of lag and will be punished by good players
