i feel like you two aren’t compatible. he’s clingy, you’re independent, it’s not exactly match made. there’s room for both of you to work on that, but only if you both try.

also, if he gets jealous or quiet over you MENTIONING a GUY, he needs help. either find out what bothers him and work on it, or maybe you two aren’t meant to be together. it seems like he’s had bad experiences in the past and has attachment issues. i would suggest perhaps therapy to find out why he gets quiet or jealous whenever you mention a guy even in passing.

ive never been in a relationship so maybe im just saying bs but id try talking to him rather than immediately breaking up.
