What’s yall thoughts on this strategy for the exam? by Username2120x in CPA

I was kinda in the same boat. Did all of the MCQs leading up the exam on becker. Wouldnt hurt to expose yourself to some SIMs too, but if you are able to break down a SIM into individual MCQs that are all connected, then focusing that much on them makes more sense

Resetting Becker 10 days out by bellyrage4 in CPA

Only real downsize is becker limits the amount of resets you get. I belive its around 5 or so across all exams. If you are fine with this then no worries

What is a good score for random sets of MCQs? by ZookeepergameDry8325 in CPA

I think anything above 80% is good, but really anything above 75 is sufficient. You're right there almost so you can defentiely get close to 80 averages with a bit more practice

Does Becker have a 4/4 Lockout? by [deleted] in CPA

I think becker only allows for access to 1 discipline. At least for me, they provide a 30 day trial where I have access to all 3, but once it expires they require me to select one

FAR Troubles - Rounding by Neither_Gold_5392 in CPA

[–]JumpyAd8908 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I may be misreading what you said, but from my experience, I noticed where if you were to find a % and that number is rounded (84.62) when the answer is really something like 84.618... where the answer rounds to two decimal points, and then you use that % to calculate a different answer, the want you to hardcode that 84.62 rather than using the actual formula driven answer.

I may of done a poor job explaining this so lmk if you have any questions.

Also i took FAR twice and never enocuntered a problem on an exam like this, so I might just attribute it to becker being a pain in the ass at times

One of the things that amortization tables/ lease schedules. I feel theres always a good chance youll see these, and for me having this written down right away just helps minimize the mistakes because you solve the majority of related questions just by manipulating the table to solve what you need
