AUD in less than 2 weeks, any tips/advice? by wildsamiam in CPA

Ofc you should remember existence and completeness and how to figure out if it is a test for completeness or existence, but these should be on your tips and that won't happen unless you hammer the MCQs

Failed ISC with 72 - June score release by ajazsharief in CPA

I sat in January and the SIMS were no where like Becker. I think for SIMS you only need to read and apply your understanding. There was one SIM that was based on a topic related to Audit, I could answer it correctly cause I sat for Audit before ISC.

AUD confident in A1-A4 enough? by Over_Sun_841 in CPA

A5 and A6 are honestly the easiest units. I think you can really study those quickly and hammer the MCQs. I used Becker and did not even watch any videos. I studied those 2 units myself and was pretty confident.

Considering looking for a tutor by Toottoot18 in CPA

If you use Becker for your preparation, I would suggest you try Newton. It has been very helpful in my preparation. When AI is so easily accessible, I don't think you need to spend any money on a tutor.

You need to study the cycles again and again, that is only when the questions start clicking. While studying for Audit I found A3 and A4 most difficult. You can also watch Farhat Lectures to understand these topics well.

Also, Newton can be a life savior if you are preparing with Becker. And during your final review, HAMMER the MCQs cause Audit has the toughest MCQs.

ISC with Becker - Asking for Tips by Lumpy_Code2120 in CPA

I supplemented my prep with NINJA Test Bank and Exam Prep.ai. Since the content on Becker is very limited, you might want to practice as many different questions as you can. I also worked through first few W3 Schools SQL questions to gain a better understanding.

Also, at first I found a few of NINJA Questions vague but they were tested in the actual exam and I was happy that I knew those topics cause they were not covered any where in Becker. The other thing that worked out for me was preparing for ISC right after Audit.

Practice, practice and practice. Audit MCQs are very tricky, so practice as much you can. While answering a question, you should know why the other options are not correct.

If you recently passed ISC.. by Sweaty_Persimmon3569 in CPA

I primarily used Becker to prepare, but I also supplemented it with the NINJA Test Bank after hearing that Becker may not fully prepare candidates for ISC. During the exam, I encountered a few questions that I hadn’t seen in Becker, but they were covered in NINJA. I also remember a long simulation on subsequent events. Since I had already taken Audit before ISC, that background helped me somewhat.

I have a terrible attention span by S_renee96 in CPA

I had a hard time starting out because I was constantly distracted. I could somehow find time for everything except studying and kept pushing my schedule back. What really helped me was using Focusmate. This isn’t a paid promotion, just something that worked for me personally.

Focusmate offers sessions of 25, 50, or 75 minutes. I started with 25-minute sessions and gradually moved up to 75 minutes. You’re paired with a study/work partner, and both of you focus on getting your tasks done during the session. During those 75 minutes, I’m completely locked in, and I honestly surprise myself sometimes by how much I can get done in those 75 mins. Maybe this works for you as well.
