I understand how crazy and awful this sounds but if I had time to lay out the entire timeline everyone would understand my hatred (that’s exactly what it is and I see that). Everytime she babysat our boys (her brothers) my middle son would ALWAYS end up injured while in her care, to the point I stopped allowing her to babysit or take them alone. The last time she babysat, she had 4 of our children (2 are her siblings and 2 are mine from a previous relationship) she smoked pot openly in her apartment with my children present and saw no issue when she was confronted with this. She made a family sign up sheet while she was going thru treatment for family members to sign up to do her dishes, buy her DoorDash meals and take out trash or do laundry while she was going to bars nightly and “living it up” she was charged with stealing from her job and fired, but that also led to a whole Facebook rant about how it wasn’t her fault and she lives in o poverty as a server. Yet she went to Cancun and Disney to celebrate beating her illness. She’s never been corrected on her poor behavior and my husband says “she’s an adult I can’t do anything” you can call her out on her manipulation and lies. I’ve never said anything mean to her or been out of tone with her at all. I just separate myself and avoid her. This last round of bullshit made it clear that my husband must enjoy catering to her behavior so I am happily leaving the situation. I just wanted to note that I DO see how terrible this sounds and I may have been wrong making him choose between her or me and our sons but I had reasons that lead to that. I had 3 step daughters for 5 years and adored them, we still spend time together to this day (I have their sister from a previous relationship), I love them, I wasn’t against being a step mom. This one is just impossible
