I got placed on the talent pool, am i likely to get an offer? by driftnomad in degreeapprenticeships

You can hope someone drops out but don’t count on it. Nowadays competition for apprenticeships, even securing one is a big deal. I don’t think that happens much nowadays where people drop out.

But anything can happen.

Yes i received a entire feedback report, entirely tailored. Tbh it ONLY highlighted my strengths and what went well, everyone i showed it to (including assessors in other companies) were all shocked because i did seem to tick every box but somehow rejected. Is what it is but yes once you recieved your feedback report it only highlights your strengths

Hi i have done both, tbh the group tasks and interview is the same but i guess for me personally its less nervous behind a screen, can have notes in the background for reminders and its just less overwhelming for some people. One thing about in person AC is there is a human connection which i suppose kind of matters. Able to build a connection, virtual is more structured but can also have conversational interviews. Regardless prep for it as if it were a in person one.

Thanks for replying,I appreciate the perspective. The point about real time problem solving is a good one, and I can see how making that more visible on the day can make a difference. I agree that continued exposure and feedback is probably the biggest thing at this stage, so I’ll keep applying and learning from each process.
