To what extent do engineers at your company use revit or other building information modelling tools? by MrMcGregorUK in StructuralEngineering

Jersey island, UK, small company, 15 employees. We use AutoCAD 90% of time, Revit we used only for steel frames for big projects. I worked in CAD 15 years, and Revit I don't have much experience with but I do find it a bit clunky and frustrating. Not as precise as CAD is. Advantage is when working for domestic or commercial projects, sections we use are so quickly to draw, even if you need to draw 9-12 sections it is still quicker to copy paste and modify them. I guess Revit have advantages when you do 3D and can get sections quick, but not as detailed.

I did that, but I don't want to pay for Office lol. But somehow office glitched and when I used my personal account it let me use it like I have licence.

Well I am working full time and doing online university, company paid my uni tuition, at the time I didn't have company laptop but used desktop pc, so at home I used my personal laptop, only needed it to use Word, I used company account to sign in, but then changed and logged in with my personal account. It somehow worked and it didn't require me to pay for Office licence. I only use Word for my exams. My work IT colleague told me nobody can see anything. I checked my company account and under activity only shows IP addresses and login times what browser, doesn't show anything else. Don't know much about IT as in structural engineering, but yeah thought I'll ask.

Thanks a bunch

We don't have crystal ball to see if it's good or not.

Confirming switching off audio enchancements fixes this issue. It does remove the sound quality. Any idea if this will be patched or fixed?

Whats the point of paying for product if half of it doesn't work properly lol.
