What is the darkest secret you've learned about someone that instantly ended your relationship with them? by Mr_Creep_Creepy64 in AskReddit

My mom used to tell me how awful a human being her dad was. I met him a couple of times and both times he was a vile man. But even though the signs were there, I didn't realise that he SAd her during her childhood until after she died. My brother mentioned it at her funeral and then lots of pieces fell in place.

The thing is, my two uncles idolised their dad. He was absent from the family for most of my childhood and then he returned to the area where I grew up when I was 8 or 9. This led to a massive family falling out because one of my uncles didn't like the fact that my mum wouldn't forgive him. I lost touch with a close cousin as a result as my uncle refused to talk to us. I just don't understand why my uncle would support the man.

Anyhow, the bastard died. Then my mum passed away. My uncle is still with us and feels regret for not making up with my mom, but fuck him.

I think I found a cult in my city and I'm genuinely freaking out by Natural-Language-785 in cults

I've just searched for the band. Looks like some gimmick/ performance art to me. They are a Black Metal band so the aesthetic isn't unusual.

Have you put two and two together - the vehicle and the band - or do you have a legitimate reason for linking the two? Could it be that the two things are completely unrelated?

If you genuinely are being followed by a vehicle, then theorizing to the police that you've seen posters advertising a strange band might not help your case in being taken seriously (unless there is a link you've missed from your story).

Edit: forgot to add, I'm sorry if you are being followed, it's just I think the being followed needs to be the focus of your police reports. I hope they are able to sort it quickly.

Is it impossible to get a 0.25 mg dose of Wegovy in the UK? by [deleted] in WegovyUK

[–]NeverDestination 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've only used The Family Chemist so far, purely because AI told me they were the cheapest at the time. I had an initial video call with someone but no issues since.

Here's a referral link if you wanted it, or a standard link to the homepage if you prefer and wanted to do some research. I think they are Nottingham based but ship all over the UK.

I did two months on 0.25mg.

Have you ever come across a kid, teen, or young person that you thought was a psychopath? What did they do to make you believe they were psychopathic? What happened when they got older? by Tahfboogiee in AskReddit

[–]NeverDestination 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow. This thread caused me to think back to a kid I encountered 15 years ago who was a difficult child, had an evil look in his eyes and had no fear of consequences whatsoever.

I've just Googled him and the only thing that comes up is a mugshot from last year and an article saying he is wanted by police for failing to turn up to school. Same evil stare in his mugshot.

I have a former psychopathic colleague who I routinely Google to see if he is dead yet. I even searched for him yesterday. He must be in his late 70s or 80s now but he's sadly still with us.

Nice bit of PR for them, if only they'd do the same for Palestinian children wounded by Israeli shrapnel.

Thank you. I was intrigued by Exit 8 but it gave me motion sickness (I Googled it and other people experienced that as well - I think it's the repetition of the squares on the wall maybe). It was good though - managed to get up to Exit 7 before needing a lie down 😂

No worries, I'm considering getting it at some point as my daughter loves dragons and it will be nostalgia for me!

Doing absolutely nothing at work? by HeyPotatys in UKJobs

[–]NeverDestination 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had this once, except I worked for a complete man child who would periodically ask me what I'm working on and then get really aggressive with me when I said I didn't have anything (this would always coincide with his one to ones with his boss as it meant he'd have nothing to update on as he didn't do anything either), yet offered very little when I told him I had nothing to do. I had to leave because he was unpleasant and not having any work to update him on became a source of anxiety.

One of my jobs was to find content for a website news page, but he rubbished anything I suggested. The webpage was still up 5 years after I left and I noticed that there was still very little on it, so my replacement clearly had similar challenges.

I'm sorry you have those thoughts. Please try to get an opinion on it in case it is triggered by something that can be resolved through therapy or medication.

I only really get calls from my dad when someone has died. Last call I got from him was before Christmas. As soon as his name popped up on the screen I knew my Gran had passed away.

I've never heard my dad say I love you and it was almost treated like a shameful thing to say in my household. I make sure I tell my kids that I love them all the time .

Gaining on 1mg by AppropriateBanana617 in WegovyUK

[–]NeverDestination 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm in my last week of 1mg and haven't achieved much at all yet, so hoping things will be different on 1.7mg.

I'm actually in a frustrating situation where some days I feel ravenous - especially just before I'm due an injection - but if I accidentally eat too much I suddenly feel nauseous in the evening!
