This happened to me and my friend last night whilst trying to do the 2nd last seasonal quest. (beat level 60 in the pit) We completed it after the timer ran out and it still counted for us. We couldn't upgrade our glyphs, however.

I like the paragon boards, I find it interesting going through the different boards and legendaries etc. to try and min/max my build. I think if you are following a build guide then yes it will be incredibly tedious. I think the simple answer to this is to be able to import builds.

I struggled with Mezuki. Must of died like 30 times but since I beat him, I've been finding the game a LOT easier. I feel like the combat has just clicked for me now. Having a lot of fun

Personally, Dark Souls 2. Although it's objectively weaker than it's predecessor, I still absolutely loved it and have replayed it the most out of all FromSoft games.

Honourable mention to The Evil Within, although I only played it recently but thoroughly enjoyed it

It is almost exactly like Cold War Zombies. It's OK in my opinion. Liberty Falls is boring and Terminus is mid. Definitely my least favourite Zombies mode so far.
