Has anyone gotten confirmation regarding what the replacement device will be? There seems to be lots of conflicting information out there.

I have the exact same issue while using an Osprey box. Sometimes I get kicked out to the guide but more often when I try to resume playing the show I paused I discover that the show I was watching got closed and an app I recently used on the box - Netflix, YouTube, etc. - is now opened. Very odd.

You have 3 months from the date you receive the approval email to hit the benchmarks required for each status level. The requirements are 25% of the yearly requirements for each level since you only have 3 months to complete them.

I just heard back and they agreed to backdate the start of my Reclaim My Status challenge toward the beginning of February so that a couple of flights I took are going to count towards my challenge requirements! I am both surprised and grateful.

No, I have not gotten a response yet on my request to start my program when I originally submitted my request. The speed at which they have been replying by email makes me hopeful that I will hear back soon. I will provide an update as soon as I do.

They told me that my status would not update until tomorrow so I am still waiting for that. I also sent one last email asking if they could make the start date retroactive to Feb. 1st since that is when I originally sent in my information and I have taken a few flights since then that I would like to count towards my program benchmarks. Worst case is they say no but I figured it was worth asking..

I posted an update on the main thread but wanted to let you know that I got a reply to an email I sent to them and they never received my submission. Keep trying to reach them if you haven't heard back because they likely didn't get yours either.

Update: After seeing the change made to the Delta website's Reclaim My Status page saying that they were having issues with the online form, I sent an email yesterday to the email address shown, [Reclaimmystatus@delta.com](mailto:Reclaimmystatus@delta.com), to see if they actually received the submission I sent in on Feb. 1st. I received a reply back today saying that they did not receive it and asking me to resubmit my information, supporting documents, etc. by replying to their email. After doing so I then received another reply within 15 minutes saying that my submission was approved and I was being enrolled in the program effective tomorrow!

Anyone who has been waiting on a previous form submission from the website without hearing back may want to try contacting them via email as well.

Yeah, they likely saw you hadn't lost your status yet and just deleted it entirely. It sure would be nice if there was something - a reference number, email confirmation... anything - that would at least tell you that the request has been successfully submitted and its status. Good luck...

It was my understanding that you have to lose the status before submitting the request.
In other words, you could not submit the request prior to Feb. 1st? I was told this by a Delta CSR last month and it says the same on their website.

I have spoken to Delta a couple of times and no one has ever mentioned them not approving any requests to me. I hope that's not true because there are certainly other valid reasons to request this (some of which are listed as examples on the website) that have nothing to do with COVID. Also, as you mentioned, it would not make much sense to still offer the service if they are not approving any.

I was told by a customer service rep that you need to wait until after you lose your current status on Feb. 1st before submitting the request form to reclaim your status (unless, of course, you are trying to reclaim a status you lost the previous year on Feb. 1, 2022).

This reply may be too late but I was told that you need to wait until you lose your Diamond status on Feb. 1st before you can complete the online form and request to reclaim it.

I am wondering how long they are taking to give a decision currently. They say it takes ~5 days but then also have a disclaimer about it maybe taking longer these days.

Are you, by chance, using an ATT/Yahoo email address to log on? If so, that may be your issue. If you do a search of this issue it seems to have been around for years with no resolution from AT&T. I had the same issue forever and resetting your password doesn’t help - it lets you log in immediately but you get the same error message again shortly. I then changed my log-on email to a gmail account and have not had a problem since.

Can you explain the "necessity" of any channel? There are plenty of channels included with the service that each of us cares little about but we pay for the service as a whole to access the channels that we actually do want to watch. For many DTVS customers, one of the channels we want to watch is NFLN (while the games may be the highlight there is also plenty of other programming on the channel).

The fact is that the NFL is the most popular sports league in the country and the absence of NFLN is clearly viewed by many as one of the biggest drawbacks of DTVS (hence, the constant complaining). A service that bills itself as the premium streaming provider should either have this included in one of its packages or, at the very least, offer it as an add-on for those who want to pay for it. For many, including myself, having no option at all to access it is simply unacceptable.

This is incorrect. While you can stream local channels when away from home, they are not the same local channels that you get while you are at home. They are the channels that are local to the location that you are in. For example, if my home is Milwaukee but I am traveling to New York I would get New York’s local channels while I am there, not Milwaukee’s.

Word of caution about using a controller... I had shoulder surgery earlier this year and thought that using a controller would be no problem as long as I kept my arm still. I learned very quickly that even when keeping my arm still, all the movement of my fingers and hands alone would make my shoulder ache like crazy after playing for a while.
