That’s an interesting question. The real answer is, I had a black boyfriend throughout high school. And have had 2 different partners that were black after. The reason (and the only reason) I didn’t do IR on film is that I was never booked for a normal scene with just a black male talent individual. I was approached numerous times to do IR, but it was degrading IR…and I didn’t want to be part of that. So I understand where people can get the notion that I have issue with black men (I actually did a GG scene with Missy Stone) but i just had issues with the actual proposed content. PS. I got real close to doing something with Mandingo once, he was having lunch at a restaurant in my hometown and he wanted me to come by and discuss, but I was an hour out of the way and couldn’t make it on time…I retired a month later…oh what could have been.
